A person can only use one seat. I think a good majority of season tickets are split with people. There may only be one name on the account, but I doubt the person is giving the tickets away, they just get the balance after the fact.

It's dead from the Flames perspective. If the city someday decides they want a new arena, they can look for ways to finance it themselves (including approaching the Flames), but the Flames are done with this arena project.

But we know they are lying. It is clearly a negotiating tactic and a bluff, one that is likely to fail.

King will not discuss arena at all. Closed file. Dead issue. Room is depressed.

Quiet please.
This is no place to post anything that does not support the narrative that the Flames are, as is, one of the top markets in the NHL.

Proceeds to answer next question about the arena.

The Seahawks play a Monday night game on November 20th. I wonder if anyone from the Flames organization has booked the trip yet.

So what is he actually gonna talk about in regards to the "Future of the Flames"?
This whole thing is a farce. What is he hoping to accomplish? Seems like a waste of time for him if he's gonna be Marshawn Lynch.

Now to be fair to King, he was assuming that most STHs don't go to every game and the secondary transactions like selling or giving away their tickets, count towards the 850k he was talking about.

There are moments in our lives that we consider transformative. They make us realize that there are bigger things than ourselves, bigger things than those things our enterprises do, and bigger things than any government can do, and they are very often a result of very small things we never think, because they have great value to others. This is obviously one of those moments for Mr. King, and why he continues to speak of it. He, a man of position and of power, gave something so small, to someone who was about to die, and it meant so much to that person and that person's family. This obviously mean something to him. It definitely meant something to that person's family. Shame on all of you for belittling this moment in Mr. King's life, and more importantly, that woman's life. Dislike his position, dislike his politics, dislike the man himself, but respect the beautiful thing he did for a dying woman and the memory it created for her family. They will never forget that, and it sounds like Ken King won't either.

A transformative moment where he can use a story about a dying woman to leverage getting hundreds of millions of dollars for an arena
Such personal growth. At least it's clear you're just trolling now.
