He does intimidate though. I will give him that. He stirs stuff up around the net quite a bit (almost every shift).
It's just too bad he hasn't fought yet. Oh well, he's out for the next month so it doesn't matter much anymore.
For a pure goon like many of us though he was, he really hasn't looked bad IMO. He's been stirring stuff up, laying the body and hasn't looked like he is trying to injure people. It's like Ward and the organization have him on a short leash.

Don't be surprised if Brett Lyon resurfaces for #AHLHeat with Lane MacDermid gone. Adds some muscle, signed PTO there in the Fall.
Granlund looked like he belonged. Small sample size, but he didn't look like he needed to come back to Abbotsford, he was playing an NHL game.
Orts had large gaps where he didn't look like himself. His stance looked wrong, he looked uncomfortable (maybe new equipment?) and he just wasn't the same guy. Then again, if I was playing in my first NHL game against recent Stanley Cup champions and Olympic champions, I'd probably be freaking out a little bit too.
I think he played well enough to earn another start though. I would expect this is like any Abby loss where he wants to go back and he wants the win and he turns back into the brick wall.

I think next time we see him he'll be on form. It's like the opposite of Berra - looked insane in his first NHL game, won vs the stanley cup champions...then started pooping the bed.

Heat add some #Truculence adding 2 BC boys. Jordan Kremyr is up from Alaska, Brett Lyon signed out of Ontario. Both in their 2nd stint.
RT @Fan960Steinberg: Butler doubtful for tomorrow. Smith will play, team will likely recall someone too. #Flames
Just a gut feeling it will be John Ramage. He is out of the lineup tonight for the Heat so LaFranchise could draw in. Ramage isn't afraid to mix it up and plays a physical style Burke will love.
