Tremblay, Beck and anyone else who believes every major attack has new played out by the US govt need to be shipped off to sea for a decade to clear their minds.
I have friends who have the whole conspiracy side to them and while completely disagree leave them be as the stories are few and far between.
Now to believe that the major terror attacks on the US from Oklahoma to 9/11 to the Boston Bombings were ALL done by the US govt goes down as the stupidest thing I will hear in 2013. Like it or not there are lunatics in this world and the Boston Bombings won't be the last major event and for Tremblay and Beck to believe no terror group has ever done anything on US soil is pure ignorance.

I don't have issues with idiots like Jones per se. Yeah they are dangerous individuals that cater to mentally ill people, but someone has to do it I guess. But a federal employee? That is straight up frightening, that someone so delusional could be working in public office, and it is HIGHLY irresponsible for her to go in front of the press with accusations, without examining all the facts. The front line people investigating this whole thing don't even have all the facts, yet some how she does? Because she visited infowars.com?

Not just working in government as a bureaucrat but an elected official! That means she actually convicted a majority of her constituents that she was the best person to lead their interests in government.

Shocking to say the least.

Guess Mama's Not Coming

Quote:
The mother of accused Boston Marathon bombers has continued to defend her two sons from her home in Dagestan, Russia, but if she attempts to return to the United States to bury her older son, or care for the boy that remains hospitalized, she could face arrest on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting.

The clerk of the Natick District Court confirmed to ABC News that Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, failed to appear at a court hearing on October 25, 2012 to resolve charges that she stole $1,600 worth of garments from a nearby Lord & Taylor department store.

They also apparently were on welfare and received food stamps. Guess they loved America enough to enjoy the handouts before turning against it.

The fact is that the US has screwed up so many times killing innocent people with the death penalty that it simply shouldn't be an option anymore.

Give the guy a fair trial, a good lawyer, and put him through the motions. Change him with everything the law has to offer, and then throw him into a 4x8 cell in a supermax for the rest of his very long life.

Continuing the cycle of violence solves absolutely nothing.

And he has the constitutional right to his Miranda rights. I don't care how much of a scumbag he is, the law is the law and it shouldn't be changed because he committed a bigger atrocity than a guy who murders his wife.

Either we follow the rule of law or we might as well screw liberty, JUSTICE and freedom for all.
I agree 100% up to the point of Miranda. The role of the Miranda ruling has been incredibly misinterpreted by pretty much everyone regarding this case.

Miranda is an evidentiary standard. Don't read Miranda rights when required and information obtained is no longer able to be used against you. No court has determined whether or not this defendant was entitled to Miranda, and whoever represents him will without a doubt raise that argument vociferously. If a judge rules he was questioned inappropriately that evidence will be inadmissible, but the fact is that the evidence gleaned from questioning wasn't about his trial, it was about protecting the public from potential further harms and intelligence gathering. They have plenty to base a conviction off of without any statements he made.

The biggest pitfall is that the biggest idiots can be elected to positions of power. The biggest fools to position of influence.

A quality public opinion poll regarding which conspiracy theories the public lends weight to.

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/m...-results-.html

A certain segment of the population invariably believes in a multiple number of conspiracy theories.

However, I would say belief in conspiracy theories is far more deeply entrenched in other cultures.

The thing about NH is that they have 400 legislators for the entire state. That's 3,300 people per legislator. They also pull in a cool $200 a year. So they aren't normal politicians. They only need a small amount of support to get elected, and only making $200 a year makes it so a lot of people aren't interested.

Police may have recovered the body missing Brown University student Sunil Tripathi from Providence River.

Authorities told the Boston Globe that it's "very possible" that the body they found on Tuesday is that of 22-year-old Tripathi, who has been missing since March 16.
Edit: The body has now been confirmed to be that of Sunil Tripathi.

^I know squat about being a cop, but why are their guns drawn?

I dont know what the rules are but I would assume one of them would be a target?

Is it really safe to have your guns drawn in a cloud of smoke and explosions?

I wonder what it would be like if the general public was armed as the NRA wishes. Imagine the bombs go off and you have a hundred people with their guns drawn.

Guns drawn seems an instinctive or learned reaction to imminent danger.

Bomb goes off, look for threats; then help injured.

My colleague just started going off about the bombing was a false flag and how the mainstream media shouldn't be trusted, now I can't help but look at him differently.

Not sure if rhetorical query. What colour is rhetorical?

I think looking at it from afar, after the fact, and with all the knowledge we have now it is easy to question them. If I put myself in the officers shoes I think I would draw my gun to be ready to respond to the next threat.

A bomb went off, I am stunned and maybe shocked. But what is next, a guy opening up with a machine gun? Must be ready to find and neutralize threat, protect lives.

No, the first thing that they have to do is protect the area and be in the best possible position to protect the civilians.

The first thought isn't the bombs went off its over, what if the bombs were a distraction, and there was some crazy with an AK-47 that stepped out of the crowd and started shooting, or an idiot with a suicide vest.

The cops don't know that the attack is over, and until they do they have to be at the maximum defense posture which means guns out, ready scanning for a target.
