Sounds like McIver is stepping down from his post to become Speaker of the House, replacing Nathan Cooper.

The UCP is the only government clawing back the disability benefit from the feds. Between this and bill 54 the UCP is the worst government in Alberta history by leagues.

Just stepping down to be Speaker but the fcact he left his name in to be Speaker means he wanted out of cabinet. Speaker is insulated from the upcoming storm.
