I am in support of Sec posting his GIFs. I want insights into what's going on behind the scenes. You are quick with the moron comment...I don't even know how you can take my comment and think I am taking a shot at Sec. I know things can change. Sec is not the one making the trades.

Delleandrea is such a pedestrian player. I really don't see upside. I'd want Kyrou at least. Even still, I think i'd be hammering on Stankoven. They have Johnston, Hintz, and Seguin ahead of him at centre. Bourque as well in the AHL. He's an awesome piece but they can spare him.

And until he has that information to post, he posts hints that there may be things coming (i.e. there is talking between teams). How is that bad? How is that undermining a 'higher level of discourse'?

Stankoven seems pretty far from a sure thing and not in the same ballpark as a guy like Mercer, but I'm fine with him being included.
Interesting thinking back though, the flames had a shot at him in the draft, I can remember a lot of people hoping they'd take him in the draft thread on this board in 2021 when they took Stromgren instead. Not that his profile hasn't changed a bit but our scouting staff passed on him when he was a big scoring, small, WHLer. Not sure they would be that much higher on his as a high scoring, small AHLer.
To me Harley and Lundvist are two guys you want to be targeting... young puck moving NHL level dmen.
Wyatt Johnson is their version of Mercer, but way more valuable as he's still growing and has more team control before his big payday left, can't see him being included.

If Hanifin was willing to sign long term with Dallas, perhaps we might be able to pry out Stankoven?
