Yet here he is, he'll be put as the frontrunner by some people. I suppose nothing sums up the mediocre state of the league right now as basically one minute of game action being the difference between a guy having no shot at MVP and being right in the thick of it.
I continue to contend that it should be Garrett, maybe even unanimously, if the Browns make the playoffs, and especially if they win the division. He's having an absurdly good season, without him they are 3-7 right now. Instead they can put out below replacement QBs all season and control their destiny for winning the division.

I was going to edit to add Garrett into the mix. Today he should be in the Conversation.
The two years where Rogers won MVP in 20 and 21, I would say that it was the last 4-5 weeks where he really grabbed the award in both years. He was public enemy #1 after the Covid vaccination debacle but played well enough to win it when a lot of other QB's did not.
Most top teams have 7 games and a few marquee matchups to make their case here. If Cooper Kupp couldn't beat out a QB two years ago...hard to see a WR ever winning. Although if Cleveland finishes 12-5 with DTR playing half the games and no QB elevates his play could be that rare non QB year. But I think one of Hurts, Purdy, Jackson steps up his play and grabs it. Hurts probably wins last year if he doesn't miss two games late.

Going back to the Super Bowl that is three straight TDs the Chiefs have scored without an Eagles defender anywhere close. Tripling Kelce there was excessive.

I have this game marked as a loss anyways and was pretty much expecting this stuff. It's just wild how predictable the NFL is with this garbage.

Isn't that all we ask is consistency? Consistently bad, consistently good, doesn't matter, just call it consistently. After all that was the issue with the Super Bowl penalty, not that it was a penalty (it was), but that they allowed so much to go all game to just change it up (especially in the highest leverage moment) is annoying.
