So, how many kids would you say have Gurriel Jr jerseys instead of Guerrero Jr jerseys owing to the error of a well-meaning relative who doesn’t follow baseball but knows the kid loves Gur-someone Jr?
 I would say over 50.

The problem is that they are not winning as many as they could be.

You need to temper your expectations. Are you a new Baseball fan?

			Lourdes!!!
He's really getting on track again. this lineup is going to be insane if and when Springer ever returns.

What's crazy is the Jays are doing this without a legitimate DH. Seriously, what happens if they make a trade for a veteran bat?

Already as good a hitting team as any in baseball, and arguably the best (led the majors in May).

And that is without Springer. They don't need another bat, they need another starter. Now that Ray has his game in order, the pitching staff is getting close (when healthy). They have:

Ryu
Ray
Matz
Stripling

If Manoah can give them some good starts, that would be a huge bonus. Add another solid starter, to push Matz and Stripling down to the 4 and 5 spots, and this team is a legitimate contender.

The bullpen needs to get healthy and they need to add to it.

Don't really feel comfortable with any of the guys right now, even Romano.

I thought they were going to blow it tonight too.

With the way Semien is playing, do you mess with his spot in leadoff when Springer comes back?
Do you mess with the top 4 guys at all?

If it's working, shouldn't change a thing, but it's George Springer.

Good win, but man, cant believe how close they were to pulling another Jays™ finish with mass walks and the bases loaded in the final inning...

IMO let Springer get live in game at bats towards the bottom of the lineup to ease back into it. Leave the top alone until it needs an adjustment and remove the immediate pressure from someone returning from injury

Putting Springer in the bottom of the order will likely mean 1 less at bat per game for him for a bit, which makes sense to try and bring him back a bit more slowly. Eventually the top of the order will have someone who falters and then you move Springer up.

It's bugging me that Manoah doesn't have the Lou Gehrig patch on his jersey but everyone else does.
