I would imagine that the yearly family photos would grow by a few kids during his administration, except that the kids only show up in the photos several years after they are born.
A report released by state officials Wednesday showed more than 161,000 Florida voters who took part in the elections either at the polls or by mail didn't cast a valid vote for president.
The "non-valid votes" include those who wrote in such names as Mickey Mouse or Bernie Sanders and others who simply left the ballot blank. It also includes those who voted for more than one candidate.
All told, the invalid ballots outnumbered Republican Trump's margin of victory over Democrat Clinton of nearly 113,000 votes to clinch Florida's 29 electoral votes.
Aren't there super long lines in the US to vote? why would they waste their time? Take a pic and show it off on social media? Idiots.
Believe it or not there are other offices to vote for during the election. I would imagine many of the people wanted to show their support for candidates in other races but did not particularly like either presidential choice.
I have a friend that visits the Ukraine for business often every few months, and he was telling me that the east has seen a massive upsurge in attacks by Russian artillery, and the people in the Ukraine after Trump became president overwhelmingly expect to see full invasion of the east and the same trick done in Crimea to happen, albeit slightly different.
Putin knows he can't just take part of Ukraine, even IF they do some elections of the territory that is mostly Russian speakers, but the trick will be that they will instead declare themselves independent, as a state but in reality will just be another part of Russia.
The fear there is palpable, and its infuriating to see all these idiots on the left and right laugh about this Russia stuff like its all fake news and something to distract Americans.
Putin will test Trump, if he does have him by the balls we will see the baltic states in trouble, not invasion in those parts but "uprisings" then intervention by Russia to "protect its people."
Oh and then there is Bannon and war with China, at least Hillary didn't get elected, having that private email server and missing emails... Phew, dodged a bullet.
Ian Berman, vice president of the conservative American Foreign Policy Council think tank, reported that the White House turned off its recording equipment during President Donald Trump’s call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Following the call with Putin on Saturday, the Kremlin published a readout of the hour-long conversation that suggested the Russian president was pleased with Trump’s tone.
“During the conversation, both sides expressed their readiness to make active joint efforts to stabilise and develop Russia-US cooperation on a constructive, equitable and mutually beneficial basis,” the Kremlin statement said.
But while the Kremlin produced a detailed 10-paragraph readout of the call, the White House released only a vague one-paragraph statement saying that Trump received a “congratulatory call from Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
During a Wednesday forum on Russian-Turkish relations at the Bipartisan Policy Center, Berman suggested that the White House could not provide additional details about the call because staff had disabled recording equipment, according to Turkish journalist Ilhan Tanir.
Washington (CNN)Evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University, will lead an education task force put together by President Donald Trump, a spokesman for the university told CNN Thursday.
Len Stevens, the school's spokesman, said Falwell -- the son of Jerry Falwell Sr., the late televangelist -- will push to stop regulations coming out of the Education Department, especially those that apply to colleges and universities.
The White House declined to comment.
Falwell has been particularly interested in curbing rules that require schools to investigate campus sexual assault under Title IX, a federal law that bans discrimination in education.
These last two weeks have really put into perspective for me the insignificance of our heated debates about NDP vs. PC vs. Wildrose in the Alberta politics thread.
Our issues really pale in comparison to what is going on in the U.S. right now.

That military looking vehicle convoy that was flying the Trump flag a few days ago ends up being military, not just military looking. That's worse than the police wearing MAGA red hats during the campaign.
The military convoy spotted on Sunday flying a Donald Trump flag near Louisville belonged to an East Coast-based SEAL unit, a Navy spokesperson told ABC News.
Military officials have launched an inquiry to determine if any misconduct can be linked to the incident. Regulations do not permit an unauthorized flag on a military vehicle.
Photos and a video of the convoy spread quickly on social media, with many questioning the identity of the occupants and whether the vehicles belonged to a military unit or were military surplus.
The video shot on Sunday on a highway near Louisville showed the lead vehicle of a convoy flying a large blue Donald Trump flag from an antenna.

Yeah, but that's kind of like saying the 200m asteroid you just watched hit the ocean 1 km offshore is the ocean's problem because you're on the beach.

Right.
Jut because the USA has (bigger?) issues than Alberta, doesn't mean that Alberta's issues won't affect your life more.
I started reading It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis last week, and the parallels between the story and the past twelve months are scary. Haven't even got to the post-election part of the book and I'm frightened.
