I dunno, the Browns were in it right till the end... McCoy getting sacked on 2nd and goal with 3 minutes left was a disaster- ball was INT on the next down and that was it. Could have easily been 10-7 Browns going into the 2 minute warning. The way they were playing, its possible Cleveland's D could have pulled it off.
The Steelers do everything better when Roethlisberger is in the game- even running the ball. imo, there is no doubt he was responsible for the W.

The Browns also need to get some form of talent in the playmaker department too. Peyton Hillis had a flash in the pan year last year, but I don't think he'll be back next year and I wouldn't be expecting a big year from him again. The other teams in that Division seem to at least have a couple guys who can be dangerous with the ball in their hands...the Browns have Josh Cribbs, who's one of those guys who seems much better on special teams, as opposed to a full time offensive player.

I havent given up on Mccoy yet, he needs some play makers to get the ball too. He is a gutsy performer, but cant do it on his own.

The Browns are by far the most unwatchable team in pro sports right now.

I suspect you'll see the Browns on Thursday night football again next year, or the year after. Teams are not particularly excited for Thursday games due to the short week towards the end of the year. So at most a team will play one Thursday night game a year. So you're looking at 7 weeks of Thursday games with 9 total games due to Thanksgiving. So that requires 18 teams, than consider that Dallas and Detroit are always in the day games, that leaves 16 teams, and the two major networks carrying NFL games usually want marquee type teams for the Thanksgiving day games. So really Thursday games are prime time...they often feature some real stinkers though.

When the Browns draft for 2012, likely one of RG3 or Trent Richardson will still be on the board.
Will the go QB or running back?

Frankly I think any offensive weapon should be considered. If I were them I'd have WR/TE high on my needs list.

I wouldn't take a RB that high if I was them. They need to get a guy like Justin Blackmon. Being a cold weather team in that division they need to get a big strong QB with a big arm who can withstand a few hits.

Black Moon is a hip hop group.
I'm betting that Sylvanfan knows Blackmon is a WR, and was alluding to the fact that a receiver of his quality can stretch the field, opening up the rest of the offense. Someone of that caliber can make an ok QB like McCoy look good.

Yeah I know that. I don't know if they'll be able to fix their QB woes this year. At least Blackmon would give McCoy or whoever is at QB something to work with in the passing game.

The Browns have to keep selecting QBs until they get a great one.

he is unreal....and deserves every kudo thrown his way..
That defense though?
On pace to give up over 500 yards and 40 points, to a Rex Grossman led offense. Brutal and it has to change if they are going to do anything in the post season.

Todd Haley and Jim Zorn need to be fired. Jets about to put up 60+ today because the Chiefs offence is useless.

You said it. Seems every time Sproles breaks a big gain, its coming back on a hold. Taken away 3 from him today, one on an 82yd punt return TD.
HATE flag happy refs, just kills any flow of the game. If I wasn't a Saints or Titans fan I would've changed the channel awhile ago. 6-3 Saints at halftime.

Ya, Belichick must be losing it in the locker room... just when you think the Pats defense was showing some progress, they come out like this.
