Overall, a very successful outing.

We must be setting some impressive league records.

Well, just remember, before the 69 Mets there was the 62 Mets... You guys are going to totally pwn that league in 2015.

We hope to gel by the wind up tourney in August. It looks to be our best shot at redemption this season.

I might be in for this depending on when.

I see it like this, we have 2 options. Practice or cheat.

Now, I'm a morally flexible man and I can make peace with either option, but hey, might as well give practice a try before resorting to the tried and true method of winning painstakingly developed over the years by Olympic athletes.

Nobody can turn a triple into a long single better than Aeneas. Not bad for a gimp though.

Shouldn't the pinch runner get the run?

In baseball rules, the run is credited to the player who crosses the plate. In this case, it would be the pinch runner.

Note to central team... I am having a bitch of a time getting a girl to come out tonight (is there a pun there?). The one lady I was counting on cancelled so... invite away, first person to secure a lady wins a prize.

Thanks resolute!
So if I drill a triple off the fence, but break leg sliding into 3, some portly 3rd string catcher gets credited with a run after the next guy hits a long ball? Oh the injustice.

He does.

But you get immortalized for life in the opening of a revival of Wide Wide World of Sports, while he is completely forgotten as a statistic.
