It’s not just the INTs, it’s not just how dumb the decisions are, Maier has a unique ability to throw terrible, dumb INTs at the worst possible times.

It’s like he knows the situation is that you can’t throw an INT here and says oh ya watch me.

Now that they are virtually eliminated it’s probably time to see what Stevens can do as a starter. This team needs to improve the position for next season and he should at the very least get a look.

That interception was just such a back breaker. Yes the coach decided to go for it which I did believe was the wrong call but if you turn the ball over at least Montreal starts on their own 3 and you hope your D can get you the ball back or even a saftey. Nope throw a pick in the end zone instead.

DD has made the playoffs 15 consecutive years as an assistant, OC and/or HC.

He is not losing his job because of a down season.

No way DD should lose his job and as bad as CD is he is far from the main problem at that club. Keeping O'Day and the core of that team and bringing in a new coach will lead to the same problems they have now.

Jake is the dumbest QB to ever play for the Stamps. He consistently makes the stupidest play possible, and has single handedly killed this teams chances of making the playoffs with moronic INTs, ducking down and trying to hide behind an O-lineman when the blitz is on just waiting to be sacked, or throwing it 4 yards away from his receiver. He can throw a decent ball, but it is probably 2 out of every 3. He has the mobility of a cement post, and the brain of a dead squirrel.

I hope he gets sent packing after this season because, frankly, he is hot garbage and they can probably chuck a rock in any football camp south of the border and hit four better QBs than this utter loser. I’d say any starting QB in any college in the US or Canada couldn’t be worse than this moron. He’s not qualified to work at a car wash, let alone be a professional QB.

It doesn’t help when the D seems compelled to hand out penalties to help the opposition every single time they might be about to change momentum.

What a completely disappointing season.

Dave should most definitely feel some heat after this debacle. Yes, he was left a dynasty by Huff and yes, he was a great QB. I don’t know if it is the pressure of being the GM too or what, but he looks so out of his league this year. Either come back about 1000% better next year, or retire.

Much like when fans were wanting Wally B gone, how did that work out. DD should not be going anywhere, if the Stamps have a few seasons like this, maybe you look at that move then. Its frustrating to watch Jake as he can make some great throws and look so good, then he has the inevatable brain cramp.

DD isn't going anywhere.

He'll have to find a QB next year or another season like this and there wont be any guarantees.

I'm just going to add that I really dislike awe on our team. The guy will end up seriously hurting someone. Even after getting the 25 yard penalty, he was still leading with his helmet. For a 4-10 team, he's not worth it. Let him go.

Looks like Stamps will be picking 1st overall next year. Kurtis Rourke, brother of Nathan is the top ranked prospect in 2024. Do the Stamps go after him after seeing the recent Canadian QBs being successful? Other 4 win teams, Ottawa and Edmonton don't need QBs.

Note: The year Stamps would have gotten an extra 2nd round pick (Territorial pick) they changed the rules. 2024 draft, 2 teams with highest number of National snaps get additional picks. No idea where to even check that. Don't think it would be Stamps. I can see rich getting richer with Toronto/BC/Winnipeg getting the additional picks.

I would take a flyer on Rourke. He won't be available for at least 2-3 years but if he can't make it in the NFL he's going to be a very good CFL QB. As long as the spring leagues are in operation in the US it's going to be extremely slim pickings for QB's and I think having Rourke's rights is going to be worth it for whatever team picks him.

Complete dominance and how many Cups? Like who gives the eff about the regular season in the CFL when 67% of the teams make the playoffs.

His piss poor play calling has been garbage since Huf was the coach.

Like who doesn't give Stevens a chance? Jake is hot garbage. I mean if only there was another team tried give a chance to a run first QB who can't throw.... lol
