Maybe I'm wrong but I think he's talking about camping.

It is pouring rain in Renfrew and I couldn't be happier.
Everything is gonna be hella green* with all of the sun and heat the next few days.
*might be a touch white in the morning if it swaps to snow, but moisture is moisture.

Was going to dethatch and fertilize the lawn yesterday and didn't. Looks like I procrastinated 24 hours to much.

Summer weather for the next week after a good drenching last night. Things are going to look nice and lush quickly!

Was there really that much rain? Accumulation looks barely there at all?

We'll need more rain to start looking lush.

Yeah it kinda stopped as fast as it came, at about 3:00 it was a complete whiteout blizzard in the south.
Lucky that it was a Thursday morning and not a Saturday, the only thing that helped us was at least nobody was out and about. Saw maybe 10 other cars all night but they still managed to hit each other, we had three accidents on MacLeod within a few blocks of each other in the span of an hour. Wind blowing crap across the road, a banner blew off a pedestrian overpass and a car crashed into the median trying to avoid it. Just a crazy night all around, but then it all calmed down by 5:00 and was totally normal by the time people starting waking up. Insane night

NW/W of Calgary the ground was pretty soaked. Was out driving late and it came down pretty good for an hour or two. Had the wipers going on full speed.
Maybe it was less in your neck of the woods.
