Even after the break, England needs some fresh legs out there. Looking better than first half of ET, but woof. They're dogged

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Tons of embellishment from the England side.

because of winner of this disaster plays Sweden next. more fatigue and the suspensions the better.

I know that, but no advantage gained is worth more of this ####.

As much as we can make fun of Colombia's ####show antics, England have one shot on target outside the penalty. They've simply not been anywhere near good enough, Japan would have woodsheded them, as Colombia probably would have with James Rodriguez.

I feel like the only way this ends is with Harry Kane missing a penalty

This has been far the weakest game of the round of 16

Nothing, apart from the preceding 120minutes.

Outside of set pieces England have looked really pedestrian.

Penalties. Well, England have lots of practice at penalties.

I'd prefer we just end it in a draw at this point. Eliminate them both and give Sweden the pass.

If I were to change one thing in soccer is to play one 30 minute period of extra time like this, then play another 30 minute period of extra time, add a 5th sub and make it sudden death. Then go to penalties.

Well Croatia and Belgium had to overcome their checkered histories to come through. Is it England's time?

Between the goonery of Colombia, the endless diving and tears from England, and the low level of play this has been a terrible game.

Honestly? I kind of hope not. This was ugly.

It was their first actually difficult game of this World Cup and its been awful.

So does this work like shootouts in hockey? How many shooters do they get?
