Boston was lucky to get to game seven.
They had problems with Montreal's speed.
Price was big part of the win but Habs were full marks for the win.
Get serious.
Montreal IS full value, but come on, Boston dominated play most games, so I would hardly say they were lucky to get to seven. Even tonight what was the shots on net? 30-18? Didn't see the habs speed causing much offense, just them playing a tight defensive game with excellent goaltending.

Crying to the media is stupid? Isn't that what Julien does on a nightly basis?
Being a sore loser and cry baby is stupid. Grow up and be a man, you lost the series now buck up buttercup and give credit to your betters. Going around threatening people who just stomped your ass in a fair series is PATHETIC.
Exactly grow up and be a man don't go running the the media and tattle...head down to winsport and watch a beer league game you will hear something worse than "I'm gonna kill you next season"
I feel real bad for Iginla. Did anyone else see his post game comments? Dude seemed super bummed out. Hopefully he gets a cup before he's done.
Yeah. People can say what they want about Iggy (and they will), but he is all heart and soul all the time. He'll get his cup. I don't think anyone deserves it more.
lol if you say so...what were the shots tonight? scoring chances?
I'm talking about the series, 2 games that Bruins won they could have easily lost. They failed to execute, who cares about shots if you miss the net or the goalie makes a save. Teams need good goaltending to win, goalies are part of the team.

So the NHL should be more like beer league? Gotcha.
If you are ashamed of your words being told to the public you shouldn't say them. I know you are super butt-hurt about your boys getting stomped but would you defend everything they do right to the bitter end?
You know the last person I heard use the word "tattle" was a 2rd grader? Bullying is a tool of the weak.

Seriously get a grip, the Bruins didn't "get their asses kicked" in fact they were the better team other than goal tending.
I never said goal tenders aren't part of the team..in fact I said the opposite he was the best player in the series

1)Not a Bruins fan
2)Worse stuff is said at NHL games every single night
3)The word tattle is appropriate, he is acting like a 2nd grader...why tell the media?

The end result was they lost.
I used the term 'ass kicked' not as description of action but of the result.
And yeah, the series could have been over sooner, last minute heroics saved the games.

1) Sure thing.
2) I guess some people don't understand the point of the handshake line.
3) Can't stand behind your words when they get scrutinized? Sounds like a coward to me.

Each team had two deserving wins and exchanged off games as well, but this game was pretty much all Boston in terms of possession, shots and scoring chances. Aside from making the most of the small handful of scoring opportunities Montreal had, it was all Price. So labelling this an ass kicking is definitely a stretch. You couldn't say so for either team.
I still think Boston is the better team. It was an issue of the Habs, namely Price, getting in their heads. When it gets between the ears it starts to affect a team's game/approach. It's like (just pulling an example out of my ###) when the Oilers had the Hawks' number for a while and were pounding them by some ridiculous tallies. But you still knew the Hawks were three times the team the Oil were. Of course the separation isn't nearly as large between these two teams, but Boston would at least have a chance against a Chicago or LA finals they made it through, whereas the Habs quite honestly have none.
The end result was they lost.

like game one where Montreal won despite being out shot by 20...it could have been over sooner the other way too
didn't get it done, it sucks, best team he has ever been on
Really? Hate to call him a liar but this teams out in the second round. Even tho the 2004 team was a bunch of rag tag boys this is a business of results. Boston president winners or not did not get the results that actually matter.
