Anyone watch Big Bang tonight? Did an entire episode dedicated to the Star Wars Movie/Sheldons relationship with Amy. The parody was very well done.

I try to watch spaceballs at least once a year. Will probably remain my favourite star wars movie :-)

95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's pretty accurate. It's not a 99%, but go see it in the theatres.

I thought it was really good, and I'm the type that likes to nitpick about pretty minor things in most movies, take that for what it's worth

Really want to see it, but I can't stand crowded theaters. I usually wait until things die down a bit to go see a movie and there aren't so many people. Who knows when that will happen with this movie. So afraid I'll read a spoiler before being able to go.

Saw it at 7:00 in IMAX... Not a perfect movie, but damn good! Up there with the original trilogy. Gonna be a long wait til May 2017 for episode 8. Get out and see this movie!

I really really enjoyed it. It felt like a Star Wars movie unlike the prequels.

It is amazing.
Honestly not counting nostalgia I think it is the best Star Wars movie.
They really nailed the Star Wars universe and all that it should be.
Go see it ASAP

I'm the same way, figured I'd go see a Monday or Tuesday early matinee. A buddy of mine went to Sunridge to see how the crowds were, and for the 7:15 non-reserved seating, non-3D show, he figured there were maybe 50 people there.
I decided to try my luck with the 10:15 show of the same sort. I figure there were maybe 35 people in it, tops.
As to non-spoiler goodness? I liked it. I really did. J.J. did the name/brand/franchise well.

It has flaws as it's definitely got Abrams signature all over it, but there are numerous moments of pure magic just like in the OT that make you feel a fraction of your age again watching it. And really..that's what we want, right?

Great movie, not perfect, but as someone who thought Abrams totally butchered the feal of the Star Trek Universe, I think he really nailed it with this one. I'm curious where they will go with the next ones. Oh, and there is nothing after the credits. I had heard that already, but my friend insisted their was some Red Leader thing so we sat for a good 10 minutes. So ya, don't sit around, unless you want to see who 3rd unit makup artist's assistant was.

Morning showings are good for avoiding crowds, or you can purchase tickets at one of the ones with assigned seating, buy two (one right on the aisle) and only use one. Arrive 10 minutes after the show start time. The theatre could be full but you'll just drift in, sit down, watch the movie with some space, then leave.
