Those stupid red Sox hanging around. I don't get it. They were terrible after shipping off Devers. And then they somehow rattle of 10 in a row. They were down 5-0 today and came back to win. So annoying.

To be fair, that's probably how the other teams feel about the Blue Jays leading the division.

Pfft. If the playoffs started today the Blue Jays are so good Max Freakin' Scherzer wouldn't make their 4-man starting rotation.

edited to add: I actually think that's an interesting dynamic. Because if the playoffs started today Scherzer is the 5th best starter. Do you put him on the roster and use him in relief? How is he going to feel about that? Do you give him "once through the order" as the 4th starter and then piggyback him with Lauer? You want to bring your best lineup without adding a bunch of drama.
