Their schedule gets a lot harder moving forward after what was a pretty soft January schedule.

3-4-2 since trading Andersson.

At least one of Coleman or Kadri will be traded in the next week.

Will they out suck Vancouver, or even New York, probably not.

But they will still have a good shot at a top 3 pick here and hopefully they can get some lottery luck.

I wouldn't be surprised if the team sees a dead cat bounce after trading Coleman and/or Kadri. Injecting the team with young and hungrier players could have the opposite effect of a tank, at least in the short term. Especially if Kadri isn't traded and decides to just mail it in the rest of year.

That's why I don't really agree with Pinder's take that trading Kadri automatically increases the value of our 1st rounder and therefore it doesn't matter what we get for Kadri. An unengaged Kadri playing for nothing down the stretch probably helps the tank more than anything.

Not that it should impact whether he is traded or not.
