Good game. Fumble by Ridley in the first was costly.

Pats are putting up an unreal fight with all the injuries.

Gronk was holding the linebacker too.

Yeah because he was forced into that position when he was hugged into the back of the endzone.

Pats don't really need to win with their record and because their division is pretty mediocre. But they'll be in tough to get a bye with the Bengals and Colts hanging with them right now.

That is a tough judgement call to make. Is that not at least illegal contact on Kuechly? Either way 6 straight wins for the Panthers, they look playoff bound to me.

I dont think Gronk could have caught it, necessarily

but for Gronkowski to have no ability to make and adjustment because Luke Keuchly was hugging Gronkowski around the waist is a bad way to go out

if there rational is that it couldn't have been caught, then why is it pass interference when the ball sails over a guys head by 10 yards, the refs should call the game not try to determine what "might" happen... if not PI, then it is at least holding.

exactly, almost everything gets called but the refs were too gutless to make the call against the home team

Looking at it again, it could have gone either way. Really close. Wouldn't have an issue either way.

He wasn't being pushed, the defender had his arms around him while Gronk was running to the back of the endzone.

Well forced into the endzone then. Gronk had no where else to go because he was being essentially held up by the defender.

Gronk ran to the back of the end zone and the throw was nowhere near him. It's asking a lot of a defender to all of a sudden let the guy run through him going the other way. Let them play.

That 3rd and 1 play call in the redzone on the pats second last possession was idiotic and another big factor in the outcome.

I agree, let them play but when the refs call so many PI penalties, then this one needed to be called. problem is they don't let them play... except for this time?

Denver at New England next Sunday should be a gooder. Patriots are in no danger of losing the Division, but I'm sure they want to make a statement, and two game losing streaks are rare for them.

Compare it o the call they made on McCourty earlier, Olson did grab him. If they're going to let them play, than you let that one go too.

Then call the defender and call Gronk for the hold simultaneously. I don't think this one needed to be called. That's just football. The earlier PI call to extend that drive was on the weaker side too.
