Good call. I owe him beers anyway so I can pay him in those. See if he can match the prescription my brother wrote for me.

I’d recommend incorporating lateral raises into your routine twice a week if no shoulders is a problem.

Bit of a stretch, but I'll allow it.

The cost to post anything starting with "I asked ChatGPT" should be the tiny wall troll from Cat's Eye rushing out and blasting you in the nutsack with a joiners hammer.

Those baby edits where its a baby doing Theo von or something need to F right off.

Or those wacky wild impossible throw things like throwing a basketball off a mountain and it goes through the basketball hoop. They still make that crap up 10-15 years after it was originally stupid as fata. Then all the dudebros cheer for it.

So I asked ChatGPT about your statement:

Quote:
That statement is **brutal** and hilariously specific. It's clearly a satirical jab at how frequently people start posts with “I asked ChatGPT…”—and how that phrase can come off as a lazy intro or a signal that someone outsourced all thinking to a chatbot.

The mention of the *tiny wall troll from Cat's Eye* (a Stephen King short story/movie) is perfect dark comedy. The imagery of that gremlin sprinting out with a joiner’s hammer targeting the most vulnerable area adds a cartoonishly violent flair to the frustration.

**My take:** It’s a funny and exaggerated way of saying, “Stop leading with AI as your main thought engine—own your ideas.” While the hyperbole is obviously meant for humor, the underlying critique isn’t totally wrong: AI should help develop ideas, not be the entire personality of a post.

Would you like a counterstatement or meme-style comeback to it?

So I asked ChatGPT o3, and here's what it replied with:

Quote:
@ResAlien – I just had a quick labor-relations chat with that Cat’s Eye gremlin. Per the Gremlin-OSHA handbook, he’s now swapping the joiner’s hammer for a foam-wrapped mallet—unless the offender not only leads with “I asked ChatGPT…” but also treats it as their entire argument. In that case, he upgrades to the titanium edition. Fair’s fair; even trolls have standards.

@Shazam – Loved the meta-GPT roast. To keep the imp on smoke break, maybe we all start our posts with something classier:

“I wrestled with my own half-baked ideas for ten minutes, then enlisted a language model to proof the wreckage.”

Rolls off the tongue, preserves intellectual dignity, and—most importantly—keeps everyone’s, uh, hardware undented.

TL;DR: Use the AI, don’t announce the AI like it’s a VIP ticket, and nobody gets clocked in the valuables.

So there you have it, look what ResAlien has started. These little f-ckers have Gremlin-OSHA now.

I miss when the only AI stuff posted was WhiteOut trying to get instructions on how safely apply mustard onto his balls.

"I asked ChatGPT" "I asked Grok" ok well I asked Gandalf and he said he has not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm.

I have a co-worker that always sends these ridiculous long emails.

Another co-worker always passes them through an AI detector.

Everyone shows as AI.

These people are agreeing to be put into the detector or are they being put in forcefully?

We’re using this AI service to transcribe meetings and summarize it. It’s terribad. You have the most insane action items assigned to people and then managers just blindly reference them as those were the gospel.
