the two posts above Hanabie are funny to me because I once went to a concert where Sever opened for Ankor. Small venue, 20 bucks. Both bands killed it, and I never expected them to be mentioned back to back in this thread lol. Ankor have been one of my absolute favourites for a while, they have a pretty unique sound and consistently put out great songs with fun videos.
Another band I really like is Reliqa. No harsh vocals at all, but again, pretty unique sound. New single is awesome as well.

not that the Grammys matter or anything, but might as well scratch the category if that's where we're at. A different Turnstile song was nominated for "Best Rock Performance" as well, and a different Sleep Token song was nominated for "Best Rock Song". How the #### do they make this category as well? Especially the Sleep Token song ... I'm far from being a gatekeeper, but give me a break. "Lachryma" might be my favorite song of the year, but shouldn't be in this category either.

Pretty crappy list but clearly the Grammy's isn't putting in a lot of effort into this award.
Dream Theater - "Night Terrors" (I actually like this song but I know these guys are not for everyone. If I had to pick one of these songs, this would be the one.)
Ghost - "Lachryma" (I like Ghost but this song is rock)
Sleep Token - "Emergence" (I got nothing here. They aren't metal regardless of what anyone says)
Spiritbox - "Soft Spine" (I like Spiritbox but this song is mid)
Turnstile - "Birds" (Who?)
