Gaby and Mate are into the French Open mixed doubles final following a 6-7 6-1 10-8 victory. If I'm not mistaken, that's the third year in a row this duo has made the French Open mixed doubles final (won in 2017, lost in 2018).
Edit: My bad, in 2017, her partner was Rohan Bopanna when they won the title, second straight trip to the final with Mate Pavic.

Great results from our Canadian juniors as well - On the girls side, Leylah Annie Fernandez is into the girls semi-finals (she has won two matches already today) and Taha Baadi is into the boys quarter-finals following a win earlier today.

Oh man, Zverev was serving for the first set up a break at 5-4, three games later Joker takes the opening set 7-5. That wasn't a great first set of tennis from Novak and yet he pulls it out. I fear he's going to roll to another straight sets victory as Zverev double-faulted the first set away.

Credit to Zverev, you have to be an elite fraud to lose two sets on double faults, including three doubles in a row for the second set.

I think it was back-to-back double faults in that 2nd set Senator - Zverev needed to pounce in that first set as I posted earlier, that said, Joker still probably wins in four sets.

It's more about how mentally weak he is. His game has its issues (like serving), but he just doesn't have it mentally. When he choked that first set away you knew it was smooth sailing for Novak. Even potential GOAT David Goffin found a way to grind a set out from Rafa.

2 great semi finals tomorrow, it sucks they are on so early trying to figure out the best way to watch Rafa vs Roger. I've been impressed with Thiem, I'm going to take Nadal and Thiem in a finals rematch.

The fact he volley's like a rec player is also a big problem.

Yeah, that sitter that he dumped into the net to give Joker a break in the third set pretty much summed up his day. I liked the fact that Zverev was coming to net trying to stay aggressive, but he needs to improve that volley as just getting it back in court gives Joker too many chances to win the point.

The worst part for him was in spite of his poor volleying he was winning a higher percentage of points at net then he was on the baseline. Just no answer for Novak on the ground.

Brayden Schnur lost to Marius Copil 6-3 6-3 at the Surbiton Trophy grass event in England. Peter Polansky is playing Tricky Troicki at the same event later today.
Edit: Polanky loses to Troicki 7-6(2) 6-2

Rafoger is on around when I wake up, which is nice and convenient so I can quietly cry into my breakfast and in the shower as it plays out.

Rafa takes the opening set 6-3, but Fed is up a break in set 2.
Edit: Back on serve in set 2.

The level of tennis between these 2 given the horrible conditions its a treat to watch. The wind is insane just pushing shots long and wide that would normally comfortable stay in.
