as an aside I stayed with my friends in LA for a week this summer. the guy who came to fix their air conditioning looked and sounded exactly like NoHo Hank, and in fact even worked for a North Hollywood AC company. No it was not Anthony Carrigan working on his method acting, but it was unbelievable- my friend didn't know what I was talking about until I showed him clips and then we couldn't get it out of my minds while he was there..anyways I digress
What is the deal with Stranger Things? That is probably the one show that every member of our family enjoys almost equally. It has been forever since the last season.
There used to be half-dozen awesome shows coming on every Sunday… now with the last episode of Yellowjackets, there’s nothing.
1883 releases new episodes Sundays and is pretty good.
Billions starts up again Sunday, but I am not sure I'd still call it a good show. I don't have much hope for this season with Prince as the main villian.
Been watching a mouldy goldie lately - we found the set of The Bob Newhart Show (the 1970s one) in my father in law's DVD pile. I remember it from being a kid, but naturally I get it on a different level now. His deadpan delivery was hilarious, and the cast is gold.

92 yo Bob Newhart probably deserves mention in the still alive thread.

Our Flag Means Death is loosely based on the true adventures of Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby), a pampered aristocrat who abandons his life of privilege to become a pirate. The series also stars Academy Award winner Taika Waititi as Blackbeard, history’s most feared and revered pirate.

Ozarks new season comes out on the 21st.
Is it just me or is that fast for Billions to be going with the new season?
Takes a little bit of the charm away when the badass is actually a giant of a man.
That is how Lee Child portrays him in the book. His size is mentioned quite a bit so it looks like the TV show is trying to keep with that as opposed to the movies which completely ignored it.
