BEREA, Ohio -- A member of the Cleveland Browns' grounds crew killed himself at their practice facility, the team said in a statement Sunday.
The man's body was found Saturday morning at the facility in suburban Cleveland, the same day Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager after earlier killing his girlfriend.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis released a statement calling the man a good friend and an outstanding employee and saying the team's heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
"This is a terrible tragedy," the statement said. "He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization."
The Browns play in Oakland against the Raiders on Sunday.
A spokesman for the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said they were called to the practice facility to investigate a suicide Saturday morning, but would not release any further details.

Out of sheer morbid curiosity I started watching the Jets-Cardinals game.
Lindley 6/22 1INT
Sanchez 10/21 3 INT
Both QB's just stinking it up

Ya, you're right. That's the only marginal thing that's happened today.

Im really curious as to what all these bad calls are. There was a questionable turnover call for the Bears but a pass interference non call the other way. This holding you keep talking about it in your head, the Seahawks pass rush just isnt getting it done today.

Mark Sanchez has zero offensive weapons and isn't that good of a QB but even Brady and Manning would struggle on that Jets team.

No TV today here for the Broncos. First time this year. UGH.
Watching the Chiefs today and rooting for them. I think it is pretty clear that playing the game today was the right decision for the the Chiefs and the NFL.

Seahawks called back TD stands 9 times out of 10. If it happened to the Bears you'd be howling.

McElroy with first career TD. Could this be the end of Sanchez's season?

I wouldnt be howling. It was close but there was a clear angle where you could see the nose of the ball on the ground. Even Mike Pereira said that he would overturn that call as he could see it himself

The Bears defensive line is just going to destroy Rodgers in two weeks. As bad as the Bears offensive line is, the Packers O-Line (granted there are injuries) slows their entire team down and forces the offense to be just slightly above average, with no hurry up.

I wouldnt say that. Rodgers and the Packers seem to find his superbowl gear every time he plays the Bears

That was an exciting end. Bears cant complain about anything as the offense had a good game. Rare case where the defense will cost them the game this time

Ha! What a bad display of defense from two top units this fourth quarter
