Haven't seen you in ages man! Rain or shine, the party is on. And the good news is the forecast is actually getting better (not that it matters... weather forecasts flip flop more than people in politics.)

But the party is on, and yes, I will have full DJ rig out and powered up.

See you tomorrow night bud.

Edit.. and since I am posting.... as an update to the last game played... Taz won 30-15. Bats are still hot!!! 86 runs for in the last three games....

I doubt I will have a drop left Troy.

Could be the longest weekend of my life coming up.

Judging from Lyaltas past, I think our team would be unanimous to give up two points if they didn't have to come back and play those Sunday night games.

BTW. the offer still stands. If you and the family want to come out, camp and enjoy any part of the weekend, you are welcome to do so. Hope the knee is feeling better.

Thanks. Daughter dance recital Saturday aft. 8 week old boy. Odds not good. I haven't been punched in the face in a while, maybe I'll ask the wife if I can go camping/drinking by myself.

Family day trip is OK too bud! Check out the sights and sounds... have a bevy... Very family friendly environment. Heck our team alone has at least eight young ones under 8 years old.

If you (or anyone else) want to come out to view the mayhem that is Lyalta, go to Country Hills Blvd, head east off Deerfoot for 30 kms (6.6 after highway 9). Turn south and you can't miss the diamonds about 3 km down that road.

Don't know if I should be posting this here... or in the "You're Doing It Wrong" thread....

After a promising start last night at Lyalta, when the weather broke and we got our games in, everyone partied around their campfires... along came 5 AM. The deluge that followed flooded the diamonds and most tents. Although the rain broke around 7 AM, the damage was done. Fields unplayable. Some hearty people are still out there camping though.

Anyways... failure. Thanks for coming out KG.

We drove by on our way to pick up sod and trees in Strathmore. Looked awful soggy. I was regretting not playing but seems it's all for not with the weather the way it turned out.

It's never a failure when you had a good time. Hopefully everyone was in good spirits despite the rain this morning.

On another note- central team: last I heard, our game this Monday was to be postponed. I want to get some practice in, so who else wants to come out? Bring as many people as you can find! Usual time, hope it's not raining but if it is I'll still be there.

SW team is welcome to come out too, bring friends, spouses etc. Let's just have some fun!
