glad Brentford pulled it off. Very interesting project and will be fun to see the likes of Toney and Mbeumo in the PL.

Super pumped for Brentford. They produce some great players and will be following their offseason closely. I wanted them in last year with Benrahama Watkins and mbuena. Toney could be better than Watkins

A lot of people online saying that Pochettino has told PSG he wants to leave. Obviously, with Madrid taking Ancelotti today, he's not going there! I guess it's really happening!
I'm a little conflicted. I love Poch, and kind of hope he comes back and finishes business, but I also worry that it's too soon. I also can't believe that we could have had Conte, and instead are pursuing a reuniting with Poch instead.

Would he want to go to Spurs? Him leaving Inter seems to be related to the lack of funds to bring in players. Is Levy going to want to invest that much this transfer window?
I imagine part of the reason for looking at Poch is the idea that many of his guys are still on the team

Yeah it’s hard to say. There are some who say that Conte would come, but wanted a budget of £200m. That could be true, or could be made up. It’s impossible to know for me.
I love Poch and at least he knows what he’s getting into, assuming he comes. I just hope he can shift some of the deadwood and get players rejuvenated. By the end last time he seemed just burnt out. Maybe the time off and PSG has given him a new perspective as well and of course I hope it works out!

Brentford is our local team where large amounts of my family live in London.
At least if/when Arsenal blow their season again, I can have a 2nd team to support.

Same. My sister's local club but having spent some great years there I'll be supporting Naaaritch.

Spurs now talking with Conte. That be hilarious ... Conte/Levy might be the worst combination imaginable. Think he could do a great job with that squad though.
A Poch return seems impossible now. PSG don't want to let him go.

Well the one hope is that with Conte comes a DoF, and we get rid of Hitchen as well. He's the guy who famously said he hates the January window in the All or Nothing documentary and Spurs fans didn't take kindly to that.
I also think that with the re-financing arrangement they completed a couple weeks ago, an agreement with Conte must mean some squad investment. I'd like to see that for sure, as what we have now is obviously not adequate.

Sounds like Spurs are made an offer to Fabio Paratici for DoF - perhaps to enitce Conte into bring back the ol' Juve duo

Apparently negotiations with Conte fell through over wages. Lol, Levy just can't do this properly, can he?

Well Lukaku said he’s staying and I think a Conte deal would basically come with Levy not selling Kane. I guess we’ll see!

As a Juventus-Spurs fan Conte would make me pretty happy.
Conte is great. I was frustrated when he resigned with Juve, and then was even more disappointed when he didn't return to the Italian National Team after Euro 2016.
If Paratici move to Spurs too then I feel like those Dybala to Spurs rumors would pick up steam again.

But Brentford has certainly been great at valuing assets and getting the most for players. It will be interesting to see what they can do with a larger budget that comes with EPL play.
I actually didn't know the same owner owns Mityland. They have been well known as a 'moneyball' team since their rise to the Champions League last year. It would be interesting to follow the "what worked and what didnt" aspect.
With a new stadium, london address, and some skilled players, if they can stay up for a few years, they could become a relative regular in the EPL for the near future.

Pretty pumped about it too. As I said to Slava, i couldnt see this happening as Conte would want some significant money for moves. Maybe he is getting it?

Some spurs itk with good track records are saying levy has agreed to all that
Rumors the stadium naming gets done before end of summer, Joe Lewis also made 300 million pounds during the pandemic in his holdings, so there should be money available
I dont think we see man city level of spending
But they have spent since moving in to the stadium, the two windows before the pandemic, they spent 150m, and even last summer during the pandemic spent 70m
