I would argue that they should switch courts for Wednesday's matches - I mean, I understand why world #1 Novak is getting Chartier, but I have a feeling it's going to be a cakewalk against Zverev. Meanwhile, Thiem - Khachanov will likely go four if not five sets.

Prove me wrong, Alex.

I believe the Fedal match will begin at 5am on Friday morning, unless the Zverev vs Kachanov match is first on court. Hopefully they put this 2nd so I can get to work early and not miss anything

Should have been on Court 0.

All matches are cancelled today at the French Open. This helps Nadal and Fed as they will get a finals opponent who will have played Thursday, Friday and Sunday

Maybe they should have started earlier like golf.

It didn't start raining til 1pm. They could have snuck the womens matches at least. Now they will have to play 3 days in a row.

Last year without a roof at least. Novak gets #### on and #### luck so much it's impressive he usually overcomes it.

I dunno he got a few breaks at Wimbledon last year. In the end the big 3 have been in so many tournaments that the luck/breaks even out.

Not so fast. Even though these renos and roof have been in the works for years, if anyone can screw up the final deadline it's the French open. Would not surprise me in the least if there is some issue causing the roof to be unavailable next year.

^^He would have beaten Nadal no matter what. But if you wanna trade that for the 2014 French, that's fair.

Sorry it was 2012. Rain bailout saved Rafa from losing to Novak. But whatever, the Nadal fan victim complex would be hilarious if it weren't so sad.

In other news, Polansky and Schnur are both playing for a spot in the QFs of the Surbiton Grass Challenger tomorrow. This is deep field and basically an ATP calibre draw. A win would finally vault Schnur into the top 100 and likely gain him direct entry into Wimbledon.

Tough match next for Brayden as he faces world #83 Marius Copil of Romania.

the clay turned into cake and the balls were wet sponges, the only reason rafa didnt sweep him in straight sets was because the umpire let them play in those conditions.

as for wimb 2018, rafa had break points in the 5th tied at 6-6 or 7-7. the roof was closed the next day because of djokovic and there was no reason to even have the roof closed then as the weather was perfectly fine.
