Mayor has said that there is the possibility of communities outside the evac zone losing power.

Random thought/question. Noticed the Ctrains running in the NW, but someone told me there is only two cars running the entire run (Sait-Crowfoot). Not that it's a big deal, considering now the core might not be open until the middle of the week.. but it's an interesting situation. There isn't a garage for the ctrain in the NW so they can't add or move any cars on this route and these ones are effectively stuck there until things open up again.

Yup, a train having a problem there would further screw things over.

Also, there are a couple of trains parked at the Saddletowne Tail track, which usually doesn't happen. I have no idea why though, as OBMF should easily be able to hold all the trains required for the NE line.

Not overwhelmed, that would suggest that we weren't capable of dealing with it. Overworked.

I don't think there's any water there. According to the maps it's out of the evacuation zone. I've been remoting my work PC all day.

Yeah, they are likely being stored at the tail tracks at Crowfoot. Actually, before the Oliver Bowen Maintenance Facility opened in the NE, storing trains at tail tracks at Dalhousie (Crowfoot having not been finished at the time), Somerset and Whitehorn (McKnight-Westwinds having not been completed) was an everyday thing due to lack of storage space.

They must have moved as many trains as they could to the NW and West lines (or kept them there from service during the day) in preparation of this. Storage/maintenance facilities are at OBMF in the NE near McKnight-Westwinds, Anderson Garage and Haysboro just south of Heritage Station.

How close the Oldman is getting to Whoop-up Dr in Lethbridge. We'll be fine here, but again the concern is all this water getting to Medicine Hat tomorrow.

Don't know if it's been mentioned and I hope this doesn't turn into a big debate because I don't mean it to, because I think the comparison has been done to death previously, but:

Could you imagine if we had Rob Ford as our mayor during all of this?

He'd be so high right now.
