I guess we'll see if Rooney can score some goals against a non-league side to pad his stats...

I know Fergie didn't see him play before he spent 8m pounds on him, but did he at least fire the guy who did?

I'm not sure United have been the better side over the duration.

Might have been united's only chance this half.

That was odd. Don't know why they didn't wellie it into the box.

I really don't think that United were the better side. That second half was mostly Town attacking. Even though a 1-0 loss is a positive result that tie was there for the taking. One glancing header was the difference? Really?

United find yet another way to win a match they probably shouldn't have. 1-1 and a replay at the Broadfield would have been a fair result.

BBC was effusive in their praise for Crawley, and rightly so.

United's wide players were terrible. Their best players were O'Shea, Gibson and Smalling.

Would have liked Town to have troubled the keeper more. Don't think he had a first team start before this one did he?

Too bad.

Could be wrong but I think he played the 4th round match against Southampton.

^ He may have. They mentioned something about him at the beginning of the broadcast. Maybe this was his first home start since they played the Saints away.

Possession was 53% - 47% for Crawley.

United had the edge in attempts on goal at 4 - 3.

Crawley were 6 - 3 in attempts off target.

Corners were 7 - 1 United and 6 - 4 in fouls.

Bolton beat Fulham

Leyton with a 'Leyt' equalizer to tie with Arsenal

next round draw

Stoke v West Ham or Burnley
Man City or Aston Villa v Everton or Reading
Birmingham v Bolton

City and County was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. Very flattering for City.

Happy for Orient. The chairman said that if they draw or win that he'll take the whole squad to Vegas. They will stand to earn hundreds if thousands of pounds on the replay. Plus Revell (nice guy), Cox and Whing are ex-Albion. So is the gaffer, Slade.
Don't fancy Orient's chances in the replay though.

"We've got tiny, we've got tiny, we've got tiny Cox."
"We've got 5 foot, we've got 5 foot, we've got 5 foot Cox."

ya good for them

have to think Wenger isn't pleased though

they have played a ton of games this season, and their schedule in the next month is going to be very condensed

they have a weekend game and a midweek game for the next 3 weeks
