From the bits that I saw, why was Les so conservative? Isn't he gambling Les? Can't his QB throw? He was going against a decimated secondary! Light them up!

I agree with you, I don't think he has confidence in Jefferson. He's acting like he has an impact RB, and he doesn't.

You're lucky UNC didn't take that to OT.

Could have been a lot worse. LSU probably should've been flagged for PI on the last play of the game and you got to figure that UNC finds a way to put it in on a 3rd chance.

I told a guest last night at the hotel that if anyone can screw up a free win like LSU Les Miles would be that guy.

Hey if we are lucky LSU will hire our OC from us.

Yeah I remember speaking with a OK State student/huge fan back in 2005 and they were quite happy to see him go.

And of course, if Les Miles had never left we would not have had this gem

"FAT!" (at 1:30) and at the very end "Makes me wanna puke." are also very good.

Kent Austin might have left Ole Miss at the right time they lost 49-48 to Jacksonville St. in double OT.

Yeah IIRC it was a woman writer ( whom is still there) and knows seemingly nothing about sports... She is an IDIOT! I did like how he looked directly at her the whole entire rant .... Brilliant .. I laughed when it came out and thought gundy was crazy but ya got to respect him for going to bat for his players!

As a Ducks fan, I've got mixed feelings about Masoli at Ole Miss. I love the way he plays the game and he should have had a great season at Oregon this year, but with his dumb off-season actions he really gave them no choice but to turf him.

I loved the sign at College Gameday: Masoli for Heistman

I really hope VaTech wins this one. I'm tired of Boise whining and crying year after year about not making it into the National Championship game and not having a playoff. They play one good game a year then coast through the rest of the joke that is the WAC conference.

Me too. If Boise State wins tonight we'll have to hear about how amazing they are as they play out their schedule of High School teams the rest of the year.

Well last year they ended up beating Orgeon easily in the first game, a team that went on and won the Pac-10 as well as crushing a very good TCU in the Bowl game. While I do agree that there conference schedule is weak, I think they have shown enough over the years which is evident with the fact they are ranked #3 in the country in the preseason poll that IF they go undefeated (with 2 key wins: VT and Oregon State) that they will play for the national championship! I honestly would love to see that and like cheering for the underdog.
