As much as I hate the Lakers, the better team won the series.
Hopefully Boston beats LA in the finals.

I think the Celtics are better at every position except SG, and have a better bench. But Kobe is just so freaking talented and so mentally tough that he evens the playing field pretty well. There are players I hate and players I respect on both sides. Should be a pretty good series.

Gasol looked soft against the Suns and the Celtics are a 100x more physical. I really like the Celtics chances.

If Boston gets healthy they shouldn't have too much trouble with the Lakers.

The Lakers are going to have to be physically tough. I think Rondo is going to pick them apart. Kobe and Gasol are going to have to play amazing; Fish is going to have to play amazing defence.

Foregone conclusion.
Lakers have higher-end talent, Celtics are deeper. This will be an interesting finals.

Hopefully the Celtics destroy the rapist and the rest of the Lakers.

Gasol just has to show he can play physical basketball. In my mind, that's what the series is going to come down too

I think Gasol is better than Garnett at least this year. And just judging by matchups, I think Artest could play Paul Pierce to a draw.
However, I don't know how the Lakers plan to stop Rondo, since Fisher can't guard anybody, and I do think that Ray Allen is going to get loose enough of the time, since Kobe isn't going to chase him every single possession for 40 minutes.

Yeah I definitely think Artest can contain Pierce. Paul Pierce isn't the most athletic or fast individual.

Yeah, I'm still bummed that the Lakers won, but it was kind of expected for me. There's something to be said for Lakers-Celtics though, especially if the Celtics win.

As cool as it would have been to see Nash in the Finals, there's nothing better in the NBA than Lakers-Celtics on the biggest stage. I'm pretty excited for Thursday. I think the Lakers take it in 7 and Kobe gets his 5th championship.

Well big win for the Lakers to start the series. Gasol and Bryant both with good games. Game 2 will be a lot closer but hopefully Kobe and the Lakers can win that one as well!

I don't watch much regular season basketball considering how god awful some of the games can be, but I never really understood just how much that injury took out of KG's game till last night. It's been said a ton already this morning but biggest difference from last night and two years ago is KG not being at the same skill and toughness set, while Gasol looked much improved.

Man the Celtics should be up by way more @ half. Hopefully they can close this out, impressive to be doing what they are with KG in foul trouble.
I can't stand the NBA changing over to the 2-3-2 in the finals, with the entire playoffs leading up to it 2-2-1-1-1.
