Kind of pisses me off, I thought something was up with her responses at tribal, and even Russell says "Well you are just here" right to her face.. and she still doesn't get it.

Right before the vote, they showed Sandra talking with Candice and Sandra asks her "Who do you want to vote for?"
I don't think Sandra went back to talk to the villains. She knew they were voting Amanda and she came to an agreement with Candice to side with the villains.

I actually like what Colby did, the Heroes were screwed when JT gave Russell the hidden immunity and that pretty much sealed their fate. He's buying more time by siding with Danielle.

ya she knew if she voted with the heroes she was done
they showed that speech Russell gave Sandra on the beach that tonight was a big vote to see if he could trust her because they all ready had one of the heroes flipped so they didn't really need her vote. So she had to go with Candice or she would have wasted a vote and been gone next week anyway

Also saw on Jeff Probst's blog on EW that they are completely changing the immunity idols for next season
Quote:
"Next season," he says on his blog, "it will take more than just looking under a rock to find a hidden idol. I won’t give away what we’re doing, but in planning our creative for next season we coined a phrase, 'The Russell Factor' and it influenced how we will play the hidden idol next season."
|
I hope they don't make less or anything, the idol has been one of the best parts added to the game.

Death defying stunt to be given the hidden immunity Idol.
Yes contestant. The hidden immunity is hidden in a darkened back alley in Downtown Detroit. If you can get in and out with the Idol you can keep it, now just let me stir up the muggers and rapists that we've seeded the alley with.

Glad about that, I like the idea of hidden immunity idols, I don't like the idea of being able to play one at every tribal because there is another one under the rock by the beach.
They are game defining, they shouldn't fall out of the sky like rain.

I though the old system of multiple clues to find an idol was ok, it's just that they were always far too simplistic and they were always found within the first two clues.
That being said I'm not sure if that would be the way to go moving forward. Idol placement does need a reboot. Perhaps false idols hidden around camp?

He should go to court and coerce his own jury into voting in his favor. And then steal the judge's gavel.

Just watched the Eastern showing of the episode, so 2 hour SPOILERS IN WHITE
I can't believe what Russell was willing to try and I can't believe what Russell was willing to pull off. It was a mood made out of sheer ego, not gameplay and I think this will be the final nail in his coffin unless he wins immunity. The move to get Danielle voted off makes no sense to me. She was on your side, she was a vote on your side. He made the move because he wanted control back as he saw Parvati and Danielle had more than he did. Parvati is the kingpin, so get rid of her. I dunno, maybe I'm missing something, but I thought it was a horrible move, although the execution was VERY impressive. Oh Jerri, you are so stupid and weak.
In the preview for next week, you see the villains turning on Russell and Russell making a new alliance with Colby and Rupert. If Russell doesn't win immunity, I think he's gone. I hope not, because he's just amazing for the show.
I got a bad feeling that Sandra is gonna win this game again. I hate that broad. Always have, always will.

Yeah tonight's move by Russel didn't make a lot of sense. I was impressed that he was able to impose his will onto Jerri - but now he's screwed. He's lost his original alliance and he can't go to the final 3 with Colby/Russel because he'll lose.
The one thing the guy has never figured out is how to actually win the game. He pisses everyone off - he never will have a chance in the final vote.
But damn he makes the show fun to watch.

Yup.. basically the samething I said like 10 episodes ago.. burns another bridge.
If I am Russell I take Sandra and Jerry to the end and try and plead the same case he did last season, and just hope these people might hear different.
If he takes any of Parvarti, Colby or Rupert they will get more votes hands down.. and even the other two is a risk.
It doesn't make sense for Colby and Rupert to vote Russell out, if they do then they are back to 3vs2, if I am them I use Russell to get rid of Parvarti, then turn on him the next week, hoping he doesn't win immunity.. that is a big risk but.. you never know.
Unless they can convince Jerry.. but she has to know her best bet to win is to go to the end with Russell.. confusing.. but man what a show this has been.

I have a feeling Russell is going to stab Colby and Rupert in the back next week and vote one of them off and it'll take a bold move to save the remaining heroes from now on.
If only they kept Tom and Steph we would have probably seen Russell and Pavarti gone at the start of the merge.

The only way I can see any of the heroes in the final four is by getting Jerri and Sandra to jump on their ship or find a hidden immunity idol.

Ya if Colby or Rupert make it to the final 2 or 3 (I think its 3 based on jury numbers) they would win hands down
so I think its probly still those two up next on the chopping block
as others said what entertainment he brings though, he is so different from week to week, sometimes he is super methodical in his planning and other times like tonight he is such a loose canon

Also guys make sure you are watching all of the bonus videos, including life at ponderosa for each contestant.
Here and Here are a few examples
In the videos they talk about a love triangle between Jerry, Danielle and Colby. This is something we don't get a lot of in the episodes and could help explain why Colby was neutral when Danielle had her clue stolen by Amanda, he didn't want to ruin what he had been building up possibly..
Also, fear The Dragons.

All these people have played Survivor before, so I don't know if the burning bridges will be as much as a factor. I have a feeling WHEN Russell makes it to the finals he will get a lot of votes for being the best players, as all these contestants knew what happens on Survivor and won't be a pouty as last season

There's next to no way that Russell or Parvati don't end up in the final three, the only question now is the third one.
Parvati has already won once, and she's been pretty manipulative in the game. Russell has been absolutely cut throat in this game.
Plus you really don't want those two on the jury because they're going to be a major factor and probably a bit vindictive because of their egos.
But it still dives me cray that the votes always come down to cry baby you lied to me and screwed me sentiments. To me thats what the game is all about, and Russell and Pavarti should absolutely be rewarded for playing the game instead of crying about the game.
The biggest mistake that Russell has made so far is the order of elimination. He should have wanted Rob and some of the other manipulators on the jury. Not losers like coach and morons like JT.
