This game so far can be summed up as a turnover fest!

Gonzaga up 39-36 at the break. 9 turnovers is sloppy, Elias Harris has none and Demetri Goodson has one and the rest of the starters have two apiece that is not acceptable. Omar Samhan who may be the player of the year in the WCC had 14 points and 6 boards.

Gonzaga pulls away in the second half and wins it 81-69. Omar Samhan added 7 more points in the second half and also added 5 more boards. Gonzaga cut down the turnovers in the second half to two both by Steven Gray who lead the way with 4. Elias Harris lead with 19 points and 4 boards.

Conference championships kicked off this week and Winthrop topped the #1 seed in Coastal Carolina in the Big South championship this afternoon to make it to March Madness. They will making their fifth trip to the NCAA tournament in the past six years.

They're on a more impressive run than that. Wichita State's Greg Marshall took them 9 times before moving on to WSU 3 years ago.

Speaking of Wichita State, they play Northern Iowa for the Missouri Valley Conference Championship tomorrow afternoon. The teams split the series this year with each winning at home.

The Shockers have to win to dance. Their resume is not quite good enough to get an at large bid.

GO SHOCKERS!

Murray St. becomes the second school to book their ticket to the NCAA tournament via the Ohio Valley championship. They beat Morehead St. 62-51 in the championship game tonight.

Not sure what to think of the Zags going into this years WCC tournament. The emergence of Bouldin as the team leader has really been a nice surprise, and is another example of the kind've people and players Mark Fews system produces. Sure would've been nice to have had another season of Austin Daye playing beside him. With Bouldin being the only really regarded senior this year the future does look bright for GU especially with the development of Bol Kong and Harris.

I think they should be able to win the WCC championship.

Oh I agree, especially with how they've handled St. Marys this year. I just meant, as the tournament starts, I'm still not sure what to think of this team when it comes to the NCAA tournament what kind've Zags team will we see show up on those neutral courts vs some of the NCAA top teams?

Normally this time of year I start paying a lot of attention to college BB in order to have a little idea on how to fill out the dozen brackets i always get roped into...this year i have no desire to watch...kind of weird. Maybe the Olys have overloaded my sports desire for a while.

Zags down 1 at the break.

Siena and Old Dominion book their ticket to the dance by winning their conferences championship games tonight.

Horrible offensive foul call to nullify an And 1 and the Zags now down 14 and the game basically over

Zags taking it where the sun don't shine, some of those bubble teams must not be happy about this result. Thank god most people are considering Clemson a lock.
