I think when it is $10, it is no longer an 'escort'...

Comparing him to Iginla in any way is laughable.
I would take Kesler on my team any day, but I would be ashamed to cheer for a piece of garbage like Burrows.

I guarantee you're they type of fan who said the same thing about Bertuzzi not too long ago.

I know I am right. I'm a die hard Flames fan, and have been since the early 80's. Our fanbase took a generation shift between our years of being horrible in the late 90's until our Cinderella ride to the cup finals in '04.
At that time, our Flames gained alot of young fans who claimed they were fans all along because they went out and bought a red jersey during that run. And there's nothing wrong with that - every team needs new fans, but ours came in a large abundance!
Most of us, including myself, boo'd Bertuzzi like crazy and called him a criminal etc.... Yet we had no problem cheering for a guy accused of sexually harrassing an under-age girl. So who is kiddiing who? We cheer for clothing. If Burrows gets traded here (he won't, but hypethetically) we would all love him on our side. Call him cheap, dirty, diver, whatever - he's an effective hockey.
I just find the hate for the Canucks seriously laughable. Yes they are our biggest rivals, but the Flames goggles that alot of you wear either shows a lack of humour (cause not much has been all that funny) or a lack of intelligence. I hope it's the former.
Anyways, 1-0 good guys after 1.

He also speared PM Bouchard last season and crosschecked Jarrett Stoll in the the face. I imagine that in Vancouver these plays are considered "good, tough" hockey but in the real world those plays are pretty dirty.
He was willing to fight all 5'10 160 lbs of fury that is Bouchard though so I guess that is a step up for a guy who repeatedly turtles after pulling his crap and couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

Backes could stoop to their level and ask about Luc, Charlene, Taylor or Carly but I doubt that he would do that. Just classless players trash talking.

Wow he asked about the guys gf/wife while trash talking. What a horrible human being both of those darn Canucks are! No Flame or Blue or anyone else would ever say such horrible things during an NHL Playoff game right?
They'd all be having friendly banter right?? Ridiculous. This is the PLAYOFFS. It's a WAR and there are no FRIENDS. Any thing a team can do to get under the skin of the other team....as long as it's not a penalty or illegal....do it.

I don't care if they say it I just think it is funny that two of the biggest p%ssies in the league use that term against someone else. Especially some that would kick the crap out of both of them.

Okay Burrows can annoy me as well and may act like one at times....such as the embarassing hair incident but Kesler I disagree with.
Burrows is one of those guys that you can't ever like unless he's on your team. He helps them win and that's what matters to me but if he has more embarassing moments like that....yeah he'll start becoming another Matt Cooke to me.

Serious question. Have you ever played hockey or any sport at a competitive level? I'm assuming not based on the bolded part.
There are some things that are 100% fair game when talking trash, such as talking about girlfriends, wives, moms, being ugly, a bad player, a wimp, etc.. There are a few select things that are 100% off limits such as the ones you posted and a player's race.

Had an idea!

Yeah, I've played hockey before, and I know the trash talking happens all the time.
I didn't know the hair pulling, sucker punching, crosschecking in the face, and overall ######baggery happened on a regular occurrence.
I must have missed all that.
I don't mind the chirping, but the Canucks might want to look in the mirror, especially at players like Burrows, when they use the term 'pussies.'
'Pussies'....pull hair during a fight.

Canucks should trade for Havlat, imagine a hair puller and a balls kicker on the same team.

Is this the sort of brilliant deduction that makes you the "fan with a brain"?
Nice to see such an informed Flames fan who has "been around since the 80's" hop onto CP around the same time as all the other Canucks trolls that are infesting this place. You were too busy all these years to bless us all with your wisdom before now?

Well after tonight's 1st game loss to Chicago, a good game mind you, I've got nuthin'.
So I came up with this:

I don't post very often, so feel free to use it if you like. And don't confuse my username with being a Canunts fan, it's more a general Canadiana thing.
