I've seen about 5 or so episodes but I still don't get the reference.
Either way I'm assuming that it is a fake reference that Kevin Smith is watching A2.

It was a reference to an episode where Warners were pushing Aquaman 2(A2) right after the release of the first. Vince was enquiring about the director and James Cameron wasn't doing it, then asked who was writing, if it was still Andrew Kevin Walker, and they said Kevin Smith.
New Entourage starts September 7th!!......Can't wait. First full day of NFL then brand new Entourage!!!
But this is a Dark Knight thread.........

The inevitable darkening of catwoman
Selena Kyle world famous porn star gets screwed over on her contract and then pushed out a window. Cats bring her back to life and looking for vengence she goes to war against the Porn Industry, its actors and directors causing a slowdown in distribution. The market price soars on adult entertainment while the selection dwindles to nothing and the male citizens of Gotham call on Batman to restore their ummm entertainment.
With Jenna Jamison as Catwoman.
For liberty and justice and boobies for all. Its in the consititution, look it up.

Scarecrow wasn't in the movie at all. It was a fake scarecrow just like the fake batmans.

I was reading on the weekend and they noted that Dark Knight surpassed the $500 million mark, making it the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time.
Number one is Titanic (not sure what it made) and Dark Knight is close to passing it, but if you pro-rate the money Titanic made into todays admission prices, Batman would have to make over $900 million to pass it.
Pretty sad how much Titanic made for a shallow story just with cool historic effects.

Yeah, they didnt mention that in the article I read. I imagine that considering that movie has been out forever, it would have made quite a sum.
Do you know if grossing numbers include dvd sales, television showings, merchandising...?

He may be a little off, but I wish they'd ignore the dollar figure altogether, just tell us how many people bought tickets and rate the most popular movie that way.

Sorry I dont have one....My economics prof told us last year and said where we could find a list of the highest grossing movies when adjusting for inflation. But I cant remember what It was
EDIT: My bad it is close to 1.5 Billion. I guess I must of heard him wrong or am remembering incorrectly. But this does not include merchandise etc... I think if it did Star Wars would run away with it

Thats weird. Dark Knight is 29th and no other movie released since the turn of 2000 is above it. I wonder how much of this has to do with the fact that fewer people go out to movies nowadays due to downloading, dvds, blue-ray, HD TVs, etc. I have friends that never go to movies anymore since they invested so much in their home entertainment systems.
