Anyone else find it odd that the islands powers extend off the island (and in NY) ?

is next week the last episode of the season?

I believe that there is no episodes now until April 24 due to the writers strike.

Yup, according to tv.com, no more episodes for a month.

Jiri- can you let me know what channel/time/TV provider you were watching? Because with my CTV-East Simsub they didn't show previews for any upcoming episodes. Time for another complaint to the CRTC.

I'm not Jiri, but I was watching the American ABC feed that showed the previews. I try and watch the American channel feeds whenever possible for any and all TV.

I watch the early american feed on Shaw's time shifting stations. So it's like channel 83 at 8 (or 7?)...can't remember.

i watched the HD feed, and on Shaw all the American HD channels are uncut. quite enjoyable to watch a show in HD AND not have it simsubbed

I liked that they're showing Ben being evil and Widmore being good, then vice-versa.

Arguments are made why each of them put the plane at the bottom of the ocean.

I'm inclined to think Ben actually put it there. Biggest reason is why would Widmore purchase a 777 with his own company? It's too easy to track. Combine that with the fact that Tom said it was a sham company yet the purchase order reads "Widmore Industries" which is a legit company as Desmond has been in a Widmore Industries building.

As for the gun, do we know that it was the same gun that Michael bought, or simply a plant Tom gave him?

It was an interesting episode. I never really thought about what exactly Micheal would do once he left, how exactly would he re-enter society?

It was a great episode for a 'middle of the season' episode but I have to admit I'd have been a bit choked by that ending had it proven to be the season finale this year (if the strike hadn't ended). Extenuating circumstances, sure, but regardless. The episode leading up to that point was cool ... the ending I found to be a bit so-so after some of the doozies this season.

Cool to see Michael's time off the island. Would love to know just how easy it is for the Others to get on and off the island ... does the flashback in this episode take place before Locke blew up the submarine or after?

Ben is hands down the best villian I have ever seen on TV and at this point I don't even know if he's a villian or not. The producers of Lost had an interview which said that the majority of the answers they were going to provide this season were meant to be given in the latter half ... definitely interested to see what they have in store for us.

I've been re-watching the old Lost seasons, and I am on season 2 right now. Ben has recently been captured by the group, and after being locked up for a few days or something, he gets let out by Jack for some cereal. What happens next is truly frightening!

For anybody who needs to get caught up, tonight is a good time to start. They are doing a "pop-up video" version of Lost, pointing out some of the things that you need to know for the scene to make sense.

damn DVR is set only to record new episodes. I haven't actually watched a "pop-up video" version of Lost yet. It'll be recording the standard broadcast of tonight's episode while I'm sleeping.

Might stumble upon new insights I missed the first go around, actually with this being lost, I undoubtedly will find new information. I'll probably find new info on the 2,567,821 go round watching the episode, haha.

Yeah, who's more evil? Ben or Charles? After sort of losing my interest, they've managed to recapture it here lately. Ben's character has added a lot.
