It did. It was an unlucky and unfortunate injury. Like I said, I was a big fan of Langkow and it sucks seeing a guy go down like that.

Reschny still on top PP unit even after Misa joins the top unit.

TSN video talking about the PP:
https://www.tsn.ca/video/2025/12/19/...-to-on-the-pp/
Summary:
Have Misa talking about Parekh's creativity and unpredictability. Parekh happy to have Misa because Misa knows Parekh's unique play style after playing together for 3 years.
Reschny new to the bumper position, usually plays flank. Hunter says faceoffs are key reason Reschny on top PP unit.

Faceoffs seem pretty key for a center for some of the worries at the draft about whether Reschny would play center at the NHL level.

I haven’t checked since mid November, but Reschny’s face off percentage several weeks into his Freshman season was in the mid-60s
He’s a very good faceoff man at the NCAA level

Winning the first face-off of a PP increases your chances to score dramatically.

Yeah I've been hammering how important it is to get a faceoff guy from somewhere. Like Hunter said in that video... if you lose the draw on the PP, that's 30 seconds gone already. You can kill 25% of a PP just by winning a faceoff, which works against us on the PP and for us on the PK.
We don't have a realiable guy in the dots right now (haven't had one since Monny and Lindholm), although Coronato is showing early signs.

Yes! I knew there was another one, I just couldn't think of who it was.
Now that you've mentioned it, probably Frost moreso than Coronato since Frost is actually a center lol. (I remember Iggy being good at faceoffs too, but he hardly ever took them.)

It's even more compounded when you consider how bad our zone entries are on the PP too.
