On this wonderful Christmas Eve Santa has made a donation for Jonduke to the Forever home Sanctuary in Lavington British Columbia. It is a new animal rescue that provides a home for neglected, abused and unwanted farm animals and has been in operation for only few years now and has grown a little each year.
It is run by an absolutely amazing and caring couple that I have the pleasure of knowing personally. When they aren’t caring for the animals at the sanctuary they are also providing temporary shelter and support for animals displaced by wildlife.

Just had a wonderful visit with Aaronck. It was everything I hope for with Secret Santa, a little bit of time meeting up with a fellow poster. We sat and shot the breeze for an hour, my heart is warm. They even left a gift behind for me! Neat!

My daughter and I had to cancel some of our Xmas eve plans because we both have colds. So we decided to open the secret santa gifts tonight.
My secret santa was thoughtful enough to include gifts for myself and my daughter, including her favorite thing in the world Squishmallows. And not only that - her favorite type which are bigfoots.
And we also got hockey cards, including pulling a Demidov rookie which is the chaser everyone is after right now. So Santa also gifted us with some damn good luck.
It was a great extra thing to have tonight.
I would love to know who it was so I can offer my personal thanks. It was incredibly thoughtful and made my daughter's night.
What a wonderful tradition. I deeply appreciate those that coordinate this.

Had a nice visit from Santa Locke today. He brought a ridiculously generous haul, highlighted by a smoky Santori that I can confirm is delicious. The evaluation will continue through the evening though….
Thanks Locke, and Merry Christmas everyone!

Enjoy the Santori!

Tempted to open my gift tonight, but have decided I can wait until tomorrow. I’ll enjoy some bourbon instead. Merry Christmas Eve, all!

It’s become a super awesome part of our traditions to open the CP Secret Santa gifts in a quiet moment of the Christmas Chaos, which has been Christmas Eve the past few years. My Secret Santa knocked it out of the park again! On top of a gift card for zoo lights, which we plan on using this week, we also got an amazing smelling bbq seasoning for me, a Taylor Swift book for little bagofpucks and a Star Wars LEGO set for littlest bagofpucks. My daughter immediately went to scouring each page of the Taylor book and says it is amazing. My son has quite a collection of Star Wars Lego and amazingly had never even seen this one. He loves the trooper based sets, so this was perfect. Thank you so much CP Secret Santa and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Oh yah, Surferguy, you’re alright too. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
On a peaceful relaxing Christmas morning with his cup of 1/2 coffee & 1/2 Irish cream, Santa was reflecting on a busy and fun filled Christmas Eve. Reading about parachutes for pets and as he was about to order a hat or shirt when out of nowhere his crazy cat ran across his keyboard. Looking at the screen she had choose to sponsor Cleo instead for JonDuke. Confused as to why a cat would sponsor a dog he settled back into his cup of joy not concerned with such things on a beautiful Christmas morning.( just after feeding the cat so she would leave him in peace ).
