Johnston, Scheifele and Bedard (hurt) all should be on as well.
He was clutch at 4 nations…
Agreed. Id add Parayko to that list.

Wilson has been one of the better players for the past 2 seasons and should have been on the 4 nations...he's a very good hockey player.

How healthy is Mark Stone now? Thats the one that stood out to me most. Can he hold up? Will he?

What is with the obsession with Cirelli?

Some major Tampa bias going on.

Cirelli over Bennett… over Scheifele? Both weird decisions.

Surprised they took Wilson over Bennett. I don’t know what more Bennett could do to prove he should be there. Hard not to imagine that cirelli and Hagel aren’t just there do to their coach

He brings far more than Cirelli and Horvat.

Wilson is skilled enough where I think it’s a fair decision. Bennett wouldn’t have hurt them but Wilson is a more skilled player the him, IMO.

Must think they get a better version of him in Wilson this year. Not saying it's right or wrong, but I'm guessing was their thought process in why they were okay losing his jam.

Is doughty really still that elite? I haven't watched any LA games so it could well just be my ignorance.

Nope.
He’s on it for the pedigree mostly, he’s very slow now and not the elite 2 way guy he once was.

Surprised on Bennett. Pretty decent at four nations, ends up winning Conn Smythe and then gets left off the Olympic Roster over Wilson

I’d have left him off personally. But there seems to be some bias for his years of service. Sanheim too. I like skill personally and wish there was more a focus of the best players being there.

I don't understand Horvat over Bennett, if they were going more offensive and took a Bedard or Scheifele I'd get that...but Horvat? why?

You don't leave the guy who just won the Conn Smythe at home. Bizarre cut.

Team Canada just can’t get out of their own way. Some good (obvious) decisions here like taking Thompson, but way too many old, slow players and 3-4 liners. Terrible.
