I mean it makes sense to go straight to a final. You could potentially have a team gain 0 points and win a game and make the finals.

Friedman tweeting that the flu is going through Sweden’s room and a few guys sitting out tonight.

I’m pretty sure Makar had the flu and even the US is sitting guys including a surprise scratch tonight in Matthews

Kind of lucky Ras is there I guess and not with the Flames tomorrow.

How is Thursdays game remotely ridiculous? It’s Canada vs USA and the players really want to win

Not really...he got dinged up against Canada and never returned.

No need for him to play through anything tonight.....same with McAvoy.

I'm pretty sure Finland/Sweden would care. Or do you think the world revolves around Canada and the US? They have a rivalry that runs pretty deep.

I highly doubt Finland and Sweden would want a 3rd place game in a 4 team tournament. It would be pretty embarrassing for them.

I think we’ll win the final.

- They won’t get out coached twice.
- US seems to have a few players banged up.
- Makar is back
- canada will have a chip on their shoulder

Sounds like McAvoy is now admitted to a Boston hospital tonight due to an upper body injury.

Wonder what the fallout is with teams supporting this the next go around with the injuries.
