The most racist of all the Canadian rednecks speak with a bushy French accent.

Parekh is an absolute stud.

Him and Mews are definitely the prize hauls from last year's draft.

Would turn out to be an absolute monster draft for the flames if both of them turned into top 4 defencemen. Long way to go for them of course but it’s awesome to see how dominant they have been in their junior careers so far.

It’s funny how every team is constantly looking for skilled right shot defencemen and the flames are so deep with talent in that position.

Weegar
Andersson
Pachal
Parekh
Mews

I’m sure I’m forgetting someone but that’s definitely a strength of this team.

Parekh was interviewsed on Fan960 my Pat Steinberg, but we aren't talking about it here? Or did I miss it?

Thought it was an insightful and funny take that Zayne had about his first NHL training camp. Said he was a "lost puppy" out there, everything was new and overwhelming. Seems to have a great attitude about coming back much more prepared next training camp and trying to make the team.

He does have a way that is unusually frank. The hockey golden boys like Toews are so polished that it is disingenuous and (to me) extremely unlikable. Like George Carlin coins “full of schit”. He has an honestly and realness.

He says “ya first camp and my head was spinning” no ‘one shift at a time’, ‘do the little things’ cliches. I hate they have to talk like that but everyone surrounding them tells them to.

Yup. Even something as simple as answering a leading question from Steinberg when Parekh was talking about what it was like at the start of his season when he was struggling to put up points the way he was the season before even though he felt he was playing pretty well but how things have turned around now, and Steinberg asked, "was the key to that sticking with it, especially when you know you're playing pretty good, is it easy to stick with it in a situation like that?", and Parekh answered with basically nope, not easy at all and yeah you stick to it, stay patient but was not easy at all to stick with it.

Also discovered that Sergei Samsonov is one of his advisors? Guess he works for the same agency that represents Zayne.

My god you sure seem to get off on being a condescending prick. You like to belittle and mean to people as often as you can. What a weird way to go through life.

Grow up.
It still doesn’t make much sense.

And this is an insane response to wondering what Plante has to do with drafting from the Q in 2025.

Just made a great move skating the puck into the slot and getting a great chance. Drew a penalty on the play, then assist's on Misa's PPG 16 seconds later. 2 assists less than 10 minutes in.

Just a force.

Update: 3 assists 11.5 minutes in

The Fan discussing Parekh earlier were saying it's probable they go the Leo Calsson route and get him in for half a season in the NHL next year.

Clearly he's too good for CHL level hockey.

Wellness check on the mars mission rover, has Cameron harvested vegetables up there yet?

Every game he plays I can’t help but fathom how he was left off.

I'm not sure if I highlighted this earlier but Parekh is nearly a point per game defenseman on just his even strength points alone.

What an extremely unique talent he is.

He's the polar opposite of Hingle McCringleberry, the cliche-talking Key & Peele character.

‘So, Hingle, you recently got married. How are you enjoying married life?’
‘Give it 110 percent… one play at a time… execute.’
