Like with the Flames and Dustin Wolf, the only reason the Nittany Lions are within a sniff of a postseason berth is because of the goaltending of Arsenii Sergeev.

Sergeev is certainly a huge part of Penn's success, but their top forward, Calgarian, Aiden Fink is currently the top scorer in all of NCAA.
back to Sergeev, the Big 10 conference playoffs start on March 8th. Potentially, Sergeev could be free to sign with the Flames as early as the 9th or 10th if Penn is eliminated in the first round of the playoffs

Hoskin gets 1g, and was even, in a 6-3 win over Canisius College. He is tied for 11th in NCAA scoring, with 32gp/12g/25a/37pts,+9, 10 PIM.
Suniev is tied for 45th in NCAA scoring, and 15th in goals, with 26gp/16g/14a/30pts,+7, 18 PIM.
Sergeev is 13-6-4, with a 2.52 GAA (40th), and a .918 SV % (26th).
Littler gets 1g, and was +2 in a 4-2 win over the U of Minnesota-Duluth. 27gp/4g/2a/6pts,+7, 21 PIM.

I don't even think its sneakily anymore, this kid may have the best shot we've seen in decades. The puck is on and off his stick in milliseconds, its quite amazing to watch.
He's got real potential here.

Penn moved up to #15 after the Saturday win over the #1 team. They finish the regular season with 2 games vs #3 Minnesota. They need to be top 13 to get a spot in the regionals

Penn State defeating Minny in OT has moved them to #12 in the Pairwise rankings. If they can hold that spot for one more game tomorrow, they will be heading to the NCAA tournament
UMass is currently #13 in the Pairwise, so also making the cut
