Liverpool with the win and Barca with an absolute barn-burner. What the hell happened there?
And my faith in Sturm Graz appears to have been misplaced.

Sahin sacked. His UCL performance was saving him I think but with the loss yesterday they made the decision

won't change anything as long as Watzke, Kehl and Sammer are there. Bad squad is bad, no matter who's the fall guy on the sideline.

City blow a 2-0 lead after 55 minutes to lose 4-2; love to see it!

New format kinda sucks. City should be dead by now, but win against Brugge and they're almost certainly through. Realistically City are the only team outside the top 24 who can get into it going into the final day, so not much survival drama. Mostly drama on the seeding front.

if you get a chance, the 2nd Barca goal was unbelievable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAhOZLCMR7w
I thought that my team had pulled it back today against Manchester United but the fullback switched off...always most vulnerable after scoring yourself.
On the new format, I mentioned previously that I liked it when I played on Football Manager. Seeing it in real life...I like it even more. I wish that there was more money in Europa and Conference leagues...but there have been some excellent matches and a lot can still change for the final matches.

That's what the format was exactly designed to do. Protect big teams. Even if a big team falters, they are not out of it. The old format was too risky.
I cheer for a little team so I am just happy they are playing Champions League this late in the proceedings.

I dont think cheering for 'Young Boys' means what you think it means.
Or is it Dinamo?

Lmao.
Dinamo Zagreb. They actually won the 1967 Uefa Cup. The Yugoslav league was very strong back then.

At the tail end of Yugoslavia's existence, a Belgrade team won the actual Champions League in 1991. Beating Marseille on penalties.

Yugoslavia was a very strong team. Look at the depth today from the countries that happened when Yugoslavia broke apart.
And I hope I’m not offending anyone by writing it like that. It’s an emotional topic and region.

Well as I tell everyone, if you want to offend me you're going to have to put some work in, but I'm not from the Baltic regions so that doesnt really count.
For their populations and everything else, those teams punch way, way above their weight. But I'm a little too young to really comment on Yugoslavia.

I typically revert to the opinions of the peoples of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on Yugoslav matters
This next part might offend some, but it's really only Croatia that has accomplished anything 'above their weight' in international football, and only Dinamo Zagreb that has consistently played in Europe. Serbia has actually continually disappointed as they are almost twice the size of Croatia. Slovenia, BiH, Macedonia haven't done anything.
But I digress.

Yugoslavia would have been strong favorites for Euro 92 and World Cup 94 if it wasn't for the war. A very young side took Argentina to penalties in the QF of Italia 90, playing most of the game with 10 men!
The Croatian side of that team won bronze in France 98.
