it seems close to reality IMO

Either they can set a new record of consecutive years missing the playoffs or start a new record of consecutive years of being swept in the 1st round!

I liked it when they finished last overall. When they had nightly jersey tosses. When the Oiler players had the walk of shame through the concourse with angry fans berating them. When the fans rented signs and drove around the city towing them and announcing that Lowe must be fired. When Lowe announces to the world, "I think I know a thing or two about winning" after being in the basement for several years. After all that, they draft Yakapov first overall.
That is the best timeline.

remember that team that was touted to score over 300 goals?
Then failed to score even 200?

I remember.
Forget about wins it was about 300 goals. Led by Pisano, Horcoff, Smyth.

The Heatley trade rejection was one of my favs. Just playing video games, listening to the coverage, and laughing all day. A simpler time. We'll be back there soon though, they know a thing or two about being no good, if there was ever a concern.

How can you blame a player for that?
|
Troy Brouwer completely selling out after signing his retirement deal begat the overreach for James Neal which begat Tre not having the flexibility to sign Tkachuk long term which begat Tkachuk being traded to Florida.
Bottom line is #### you Troy Brouwer. But after this spring, Ill downgrade that to screw you Troy Brouwer.

I think Tkachuk might have inspired the whole league. Even Stuart Skinner.
