Venezuela full value for the lead.

Probably too much to hope for for Jamaica to get a result against Mexico but nice to see El Tri crap their pants tonight.

Mexico is part of Central America (by some definitions) and North America.

Weah completely lost the plot with that red. What was he thinking. Big loss puts the Americans in a tough spot with the toughest game left to play

LOL at American talking heads saying that Uruguay has nothing to play for against the US.

This is Uruguay! They never let up. They bring it every single time like you're trying to rip their football history away from them. They'll take your legs out or even bite you!

Yeah - almost think the more likely path for the US is Panama not getting a result vs Bolivia and then going through on goal differential.

Is Dave Campbell their manager?

Uruguay is the country I've always wished we tried to emulate in soccer. Tough as nails and full of heart. Punches way above their weight (yes I realize they have a century of soccer culture and we don't).

Canadas throw ins are weak so far, giving up possession right away more often than not. That said, somewhat settled into the game so that's good.

Osorio looks asleep out there. Not in the game at all, chasing as he's out of position.

Canada's speed against Chile's old legs. That's a 2nd yellow.

Chile must win so they still have to attack. Canada can exploit the open spaces.
