He played 4 full seasons behind Rinne.... then was given the net for a bigger role. Thats a recipe for success.
People here seem to want to jettison Markstrom and annoint Wolf the Number 1. That is playing a dangerous game.
I will say this though....would much prefer that Wolf be the fulltime backup ovrer Vladar.

To add to what I said - they are just not ready for passes and not anticipating where the puck is going tonight. So they end up looking really slow.

GM's cant do anything about that "loophole"....thats something that has to be collectively bargained with the PA.
That wont happen until 2026.

And do they even want to? Maybe cheaper owners won't like skirting the salary cap, but the big teams all love it.

The first one was the only one that was stoppable but still gave Strome way too much time and space.
But the people that want Wolf to fail so they can be "right" will be vocal every chance they get

Kadri line hasn’t been anywhere near as good tonight as before. Kadri trying to go solo too much, Pospisil fumbling, Huberdeau forcing. And none playing great D.
