Lowry is a lot of fun to watch. I really enjoy when he gets some air time because he is really lively and emotional. He reminds me a lot of John Daly.

With how easy the course is playing 59 could be in play tomorrow, so who knows how far back is too far. But because it's playing so easy it should make tomorrow fun.

He's very much a salt of the earth Irishman. Grateful for his life and still attached to his roots and part of his local community. Huge GAA man that does a lot for his local club and county.

His father and uncles are GAA legends. Youtube The Lowrys.

And yet the players are whining about mudballs. If they were playing LCP par would be about 64.

		| Professional golfer Grayson Murray, who won the Sony Open earlier this year in Hawaii, has died, the PGA Tour announced on Saturday.
"We were devastated to learn - and are heartbroken to share - that PGA TOUR player Grayson Murray passed away this morning. I am at a loss for words," PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a statement. "The PGA TOUR is a family, and when you lose a member of your family, you are never the same. We mourn Grayson and pray for comfort for his loved ones."

"I reached out to Grayson's parents to offer our deepest condolences, and during that conversation, they asked that we continue with tournament play," Monahan continued. "They were adamant that Grayson would want us to do so. As difficult as it will be, we want to respect their wishes.

He has battled mental health/addiction issues in the past.
Some people just can't escape their demons and that is so sad to me.

I've lost 3 people very close to me over the years to suicide and every time i read something like this, it just brings back all that grief.....regardless of exact cause here.

He won the Sony Open in a playoff this year and had his privileges locked up for the next two seasons.

		| Criminal charges have been dropped against world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler, who said he hopes to move on from the incident that took place outside the PGA Championship earlier this month.
"I hold no ill will toward Officer [Bryan] Gillis. I wish to put this incident behind me and move on, and I hope he will do the same," Scheffler wrote in an Instagram story Wednesday, referencing the Louisville police officer who arrested him outside Valhalla Golf Club. "Police officers have a difficult job and I hold them in high regard. This was a severe miscommunication in a chaotic situation."

During a court hearing Wednesday, Jefferson County Attorney Mike O'Connell said prosecutors would not pursue the case and asked for the charges to be dismissed with prejudice, meaning they can't be filed again in the future.

"Based upon the totality of the evidence, my office cannot move forward in the prosecution of the charges filed against Mr. Scheffler," O'Connell said. "Mr. Scheffler's characterization that this was a 'big misunderstanding' is corroborated by the evidence. The evidence we reviewed supports the conclusion that Detective Gillis was concerned for public safety at the scene when he initiated contact with Mr. Scheffler. However, Mr. Scheffler's actions and the evidence surrounding their exchange during this misunderstanding do not satisfy the elements of any criminal offenses."
