Stamps have been good at unearthing quality receivers but have also had some bad luck with guys like Rambo, Jordan, and Henry who looked to have extremely promising careers derailed by major injuries. At least Michel will have a training camp under him this season but this is a big hit to the offense.

I partly blame myself for buying a #11 authentic Stamps jersey at McMahon last year in both home and away early last season (they had a crazy deal on - $50). He hasn't played in a game since the purchase.

Terrible news for the Stamps and Malik Henry. Seems like they've got good depth at that position, but have to think it might be the end of the road for Henry.

For some good CFL news, I'm glad to see that the BC Lions ownership is investing in the team and doing something a little different. They announced 50 cent is playing before their home opener - hopefully they get a good crowd for that game.

imo, time to get rid of the turf at McMahon. I have no evidence that the turf is the reason but I believe it's playing a big part in it.

Final from Winnipeg is Stamps 31, Bombers 10. Did not watch one minute of this game, but the defense only allowing 16 points in two games is pretty good.

Bonner put up some impressive looking stats albeit against Bomber backups but still. Would be nice if he could stick as the Stamps need to get back on track and unearth another great QB.

I think they're still trying to determine who the backup to Jake Maier will be. Logan Bonner might just beat out Matthew Shiltz for that job.

Amongst the final cuts for the Riders was National receiver Brayden Lenius. I've always thought quite highly of him, with Henry out for the season, he could be worth a look.
