Blake Coleman is quickly becoming one of my favourite Flames.

Agreed. Always plays an honest, hard-working shift. Never takes a shift off. Worth every dollar.

It appears to me that the next player to go is Lindholm. I think that on this roster they can replace Lindy with a cheaper player on that line. Since he doesn't mesh with Huby or Kadri, we can afford to downgrade that spot. Maybe Sharangovich moved to centre and Coronato on right wing? I think that Noah is going to be the hardest to replace and the team should still try to sign him. He may have found his offensive game - which makes him a more dynamic player.

The people driving the bus on this team of late seem to be Zary, Kadri, Weegar, and the Backlund line. I know Lindholm is tied for team lead in points but I think his roster spot is fillable.

Even with selling all the UFAs, I don't see this team as being in tank territory as some people imagine. This team without Tanev, Lindholm, and Hanafin is still competing for a playoff spot. Even dare I say that this team may be competitive with any team in the West?

Say Backlund doesn't score but instead the Stars rush down and score on us. Can we review that goal as a missed stoppage and have it overturned? It was a glove pass after all and should have resulted in a stoppage before Dallas scored.

It appears that the best thing to do is invite the refs over to the bench to talk it over and get their opinion in it before making the decision to challenge.

I don’t mind video review ….. but….. it should have to be done at real speed. Not slowed down to frame by frame. Plus you have 1 min to review, if it isn’t obvious it is ruled inconclusive and call on ice stands.

That way obvious ones get caught but offside by a half inch wouldn’t play in.
