Markstrom keeping this from being an absolute embarrassment.

It’s almost unfathomable that some fans actually believe Markstrom has been a problem , this season.

Should be 5 or 6 zip.

Huska seems like a good guy and a smart coach, but we also shouldn't be surprised by no notable bump in team play hiring a guy who was essentially a bubble team coach at the best of times in the AHL.

I don't know if Mitch Love would've been better, but he had the accolades going for him at least. Wolf's role in that can of course be debated.

Conroy is trying to lock up remaining core members . His hire for coach looks like Geoff ward 2.0. I really see no change from last year from players to coaches and management

Great work so far. Keep losing and sell at the deadline.

We are being out skilled all over the ice by the St Louis Blues. That should tell you all you need to know about talent.

Does our new captain even have a goal yet this year?

Idk if I feel bad for Huska, he was pretty adamant about how good this team was in the summer and how he loves all the players. He knew what he was taking on.

Why do the Flames get caught on so many odd man rushes when they get such weak offensive chances? If the defense isn't pinching to create offensive chances surely they can at least play defense?

It's inversely proportional. But ESPECIALLY so with Kadri/Huberdope.
Yup.

This teams problem isn't "working harder" or "needing to hate to lose". If anything the entire roster has been wound up too tight over the last 18 months.

This team needs to try to have some fun and play looser. They play so tight and afraid, like any mistake is going to cost them their lives, which always leads to more mistakes.

Marky’s the only reason it isn’t 5-0

They don’t attack the middle of the ice.

They should rename the team the Calgary Turnovers.

Right, now look at the rosters. The Flames are a much more talented roster than the St Louis Blues on paper, full stop. So what does that tell you about the coach and this system?

I've just never seen a team in my lifetime just do nothing. Like the team is just going through the motions skating back and forth but really nothing is happening in these games at all. No excitement or anything.

Only problem is when our gm sells, he trades quality for 4th line garbage and mid round picks.

Lindholm for Derek Ryan and a 5th? DONE!

Marky has let some softies in but he has also been the best player by a wide margin this season.

The Flames aren’t talented enough to score themselves out of trouble so those bad goals often end up becoming the focal point.
