Apparently there’s a sandstone valley community just north of Nose hill park. According to google maps.

lol. City on the hook for all cost overruns. What a boondoggle. Truly an embarrassment for Calgary.
People complain about how incompetent the UCP are and how they’re ruining our province (they are) but anything they do will pale in comparison to the long term damage this council has done with this awful, awful deal.

That's what I thought as well. Would've been nice to get a new indoor stadium out of all this in the end too for just slightly more than today's total cost... ah well.

To be clear the city being on the hook for cost over runs was in response to a question if the province would cover cost over runs.
In other words the province wouldn't be kicking in any more money if inflation or cost overs occurred in the specific things they were funding (e.g. the underpass on 6th street)
It is still unclear on who is responsible for cost over runs for the building itself.
